KERRY BLUE CRUFTS 2010 Kerry Blue Terrier Judge(s): MR G FLYCKT-PEDERSEN Kerry Blue Terriers PGD (10,2a) 1 Wilkinson’s Granemore Padraig at Cranmoss, upstanding & stylish dog, excellent head, neck & topline. Still young & needs more body but his overall outline is excellent. Moved very well from the side but needs to settle in front. Great temperament; 2 Deen’s Kamaghan King Of Swing, lovely type, masculine head, good ear carriage, good neck, short back, very well presented. Would like better tail carriage but a very typical & attractive dog; 3 Wilcox’s Kebulak Ring Of Fire, nice dog, pleasing size & type, head balanced but a little plain. Ears on the large side. Good neck, topline & tailset, well presented & handled. LD (5,1) 1 Dale & Cooper’s Kamaghan Ace Lynnsto, very stylish dog, excellent head, good length of neck & short back, moved well round the ring, makes an attractive overall picture; 2 K King Of Swing; 3 Pinfold’s Cyres Master Craftsman, sorry no notes as he left the ring. OD (12,3) A strong & interesting group of males. 1 Davani, Ban, Poulova & O’Brien’s Int/Multi Ch Dandy Black And Blue Rokoko, very impressive stylish male, a real eye catcher, excellent head, neck, body, topline & tailset, moved round the ring with good extension & was sound coming & going, superbly presented. CC; 2 Netherwood & Main’s Ch Nedavir Notorious, really liked this dog for type & overall balance, lovely head, excellent ears, good expression, balanced neck, short back, good tailset, moved well & well presented. Certainly gave 1 a run for his money. RCC. GCD (1) 1 K Ring Of Fire. VB (1) 1 Adamson’s Danielle Serena Adabelle, 9 years, pleasant temperament, reasonably fit for her age, good colour. PB (4,1) 1 Munro & Averis’ Saredon Showtime to Arkama, feminine, attractive & well balanced, liked her head, neck of good length, topline & tailset good, moved well, well presented, lovely temperament. BP: 2 Neen’s Newent Annie Winter, lovely head, good neck, topline & tailset, makes a nice overall picture, moved OK from the side but very untidy in front. Lovely temperament; 3 Baxter’s Arkama It Girl, liked her type, excellent head & ears, moved OK round the ring but close behind & needs to settle in front. Has time on her side. Good coat & excellent temperament JB (5,2) 1 Bradley’s Rimbert Queen Padme, quite a strong young lady, excellent head, good ears & expression, excellent body & bone, moved well, well handled & presented. Better tail carriage would improve the overall picture; 2 Clarke O’Neill’s Rimbert Queen Of Naboo at Lemracdream, looked really good standing, excellent presentation, head & expression, good topline & tailset, moved OK from the side but very close behind; 3 Delmar’s Miculadh Moondance at Shillelagh, really lovely young bitch & standing she looked an easy winner of this class. Great head, ears & expression, good neck, short back, good tailset. I liked everything about her until she moved – which I am in no doubt that she is able to do very well when she wants to – but today would not co-operate with her handler & paid the price. PGB (8,2) 1 Peacock’s Rimbert Queen Aravis, lovely bitch, attractive picture & balance, excellent head & expression, good length of neck, good topline, moved well, well presented & displayed a typical temperament; 2 Roxburgh’s Cranmoss Amethest, very typical, good head & ears, good neck, excellent body & bone, presented in good order & moved OK; 3 Davani’s Kebulak Wheels On Fire, very attractive lady, lovely head & expression, her pattern of movement seems good but could definitely do with more fire as she would not use her tail. Can do better if she wants to. LB (8,2) 1 Rodriguez’s Dalstar Rihanna by Edbrios, what a showgirl! This lovely young girl has everything going for her, lovely head, good ears, keen expression, long neck, short back, excellent tailset, showed herself off with style & temperament, well handled & presented. RCC; 2 Peacock’s Cranmoss Millie, excellent type & head, good body & bone. Little longer in back than 1. Excellent coat & colour, moved well & well presented; 3 Linsdell’sLunabrook Penny Lane, different type to 1 & 2 but still a lovely bitch. Excellent head, perfect ears & good expression, good neck, body & body, excellent presentation, moved well. OB(13,3) By far the strongest class of the day. 1 Davies’ Ch Perrisblu Kennislain’s Chelsey, this bitch really impressed me. I liked everything about her, the way it is all put together, to describe her in detail would be a waste of time, as it would just be a long list of superlatives! She moved perfectly, presentation & handling immaculate, pleased to see her placed in the group. CC & BOB; 2 Nagle’s Ch/Ir Ch Cranemore Imperial Beauty at Colinca’s, another bitch from the top drawer, lovely type, excellent head & expression, good length of neck, short body, shown in excellent coat & condition, moved so well, a serious contender for the top honours; 3 Wiman-Karlsson’s Sw/Fin Ch Lingus Lapsan Souchong, completed a trio of excellent bitches, excellent type, lovely head & expression, good length of neck, short back, moved very well, in excellent coat & condition. |
