KERRY BLUE JUDGE CRUFTS 12

KERRY BLUE TERRIER

I was a great honour to have the opportunity to judge dogs of such a high quality that were presented and performing at such a high level. My thanks to the excellent ring stewards.

SpPD

1 Ensell's Nemiah Lanisters Gold. Nice balanced young dog with plenty of confidence. Well made body but a little high shoulder. Nice head.

2 Taylors Cranmoss Poteen. Good dark eye on a balanced head. I would prefer the body fuller but he moved quite well.

JD

1 Clarke/O'Neill's 'Waterwind Mountaineer by Lemrardrem. Head is a little too short and strong. Well developed body and moved well. Coat needs to improve.

PGD

1 Scott's Cranmoss Casanova under Bridgescott. Good length of head even if it's a little heavy in the skull. Good top line but a little straight in stifle. Good bone but I would like the body a little shorter.

2 Lynddell Kebulak Jailhouse Rock with Lunabrook. Too refined in the head, however excellent ears. A little light in the body and I would like more development in the hindquarters. Nice level top line. A little unsettled on the move.

LD

1 Wilkinsons Granmore Padraig of Cranmoss. Nice head, with length and strength. Very 'typey' with excellent hindquarters well illustrated in his excellent movement.

2 Garcia & De Luna's Dinnyesvarosi Motorhead. Excellent coat & colour with a well balanced head. Well constructed but just too big all over for me.

3 Davani's Kebulak Dirty Harry. Good eye and ear but I would like more strength in the foreface. Good body shape with an excellent top line. Nice free mover. Coat and colour untypical.

4 Dean's Kamaghan King of Swing at Maebren. VHC Read's Kopykats King of theCastle

OD

1 Imioc's Rollicks Super Hero (CC & BOB). Well made dog with an excellent body shape and good firm top line and tail set. The hindquarters were well developed with plenty of power. He has a true hard terrier expression and great ring presence. Handled and prepared at a high level of excellence.

2 De Luna & Garcia's Bluemont Ariel (Res CC). Nice short backed dog with well knit balanced body with excellent neck carriage. His expression is sharp and typical with great strength in the fore face. He Performed well with the colour starting to come through.

3 Wright's Class Act by Hallsblu. Really sharp ears set on a well balanced head giving a really animated expression. His colour and coat are correct but I would like the movement more positive.

4 Diaz Portables & Sanchel & Corega's Irisfingle Beltaine.

VHC Le Ddranot's Shylock Navagator to Edrus

PB

1 Ramsay's Irisblu Boston Rose at Torum. Lovely head and expression, and good pigmentation. Correct top line and tail set and hindquarters. She will have a lovely coat when it finishes. Covered ground well when moving and has a nice confident temperament. Best Puppy.

2 Rafter's Arkama My Way. Nice young bitch with good head and expression. Nice body shape but I would like the tail set higher. Moved freely but a little close behind.

3 Read's Kebulak Naked Ambition. Ears carried too high and I would like the foreface longer. Body could be shorter however she has an excellent top line, good shape in the ribs and moved well.

PGB

1 Forest & Scott's Lacarnaveen Orla. Good ears and eyes, a little high in shoulder with good top line and moved quite well. I would like to see more colour starting to break.

2 Gibson's Glendanly Numero Uno. Did not like her head and ears. Correct top line and tail set. I would like more drive on the move.

LB

1Devani's Kebulak Striptease. Nice sharp expression and an excellent well developed body. A little high in the shoulder. Excellent hindquarters and tail set and moved with good animation.

2 Forest & Scott's Lacarnaveen Mary Kate. Head a little too refined but nice shape. Good coat, correct top line and tail set. I would like stronger hindquarters. Good mover

3 Dale & Coopers Lynnsto Saphire Blu. Would have liked her more assertive in the ring. Nice type with good coat, colour and top line. I would have liked more animation in the ears.

OB

1 Yenling & Davies's Perrisblu Kennislains Chelsey' CC Bitch BOB. In her prime. Containing all the speciality points on view i.e. Coat, Colour, Attitude and movement all presented at the highest level. Definitely Diva!

2 Quigg's 'Saredon Shock Waves at Irisblu'. Res CC Bitch. Great head and expression. Well made compact body with powerful hindquarters. Nice confident outgoing temperament moved well.

3 Lorans-Barraquer's Dalstar Riyanna by Edbrios. Excellent type with nice coat and colour. Correct ears and eyes on a balanced head. A little refined in the foreface.

4 Ensell's Nemiah Born of an Angel.

VHC Madden's Irisblu Withcraft by Madragorm.
