A small entry but I enjoyed them – great spirit and wonderful expression in the breed. Many thanks to my steward Nicola Garbutt and Mandy Heslop.

1 McGarry Balboa Giramondo 16-month-old, smart dog with short back, good reach of neck from well angulated shoulders. Long clean head with dark eye. He needs to fill out in chest and ribcage now. Went with a very good stride. Silky coat texture. Tail is a little tight.

OD (2, 0)

1 Davani & Potts Ch Dandy Black & Blue Niko at Kebulak 2-year-old whose balance and outline appealed. Scored in his couplings and clean skull and good foreface. Not yet fully mature in rib. Good colour. Texture could be silkier. Moved cleanly. CC

2 Soltan Int Ch Kerrydom Court Perdor very showy dog with excellent ribcage and striking outline from good neck. I thought the winner cleaner in skill and more balanced for leg length. Very good front stride. Scores in tail over the winner but preferred rear actin of winner RCC.

1 Davani & Potts Kebulak Killer Queen exciting prospect, this 9-month-old puppy has a beautiful headpiece – so clean and feminine. Squarely built with perfect topline, tail set and carriage. Good bone and feet. Obviously needs time for finish of body. Excellent movement. May well live up to her name. BP

2 Rafter Rafscos Annie Get Ya Gun 9-month-old longer cast bitch with lovely shoulder and good spring of rib. Silky coat texture, stronger head than the winner and not the topline and carriage.

1 Clarke-O’Neill Showtime Lady at Lemracdream 20-month-old filled the eye for type, shape and movement. Lovely to go over from head to her well set and carried tail. She is still dark but breaking in colour .I would have preferred her colour more advanced, , but I thought her a beautiful bitch and she pleased me most on the day. CC & BOB

2 Prendergast Lakki Kerri Pride with Glory 4-year-old, I see is the dam of the winner and she has a beautiful silver coat colour but carrying too much of it on the day. Heavier built but with a beautiful long, clean head. Needs firming up in topline and not the movement of the winner.

OB (2, 0)

1 Pinfold Cyres Lightning 2-year-old, top size bitch with the best coat texture and colour of the day. Clean outline. Not yet fully mature in rib. Went soundly. . Full of quality with a head of good length..I preferred the balance and style of the limit bitch but not an easy decision.Reserve CC

2 Davani & Potts Kebulak Blue Velvet 2-year-old of finer build. Squarely built with excellent head, ear and eyes. can fill out in front and this showed in her front action.
