Northern Kerry Blue Terrier Club
My thanks to the Northern Kerry Blue Terrier club for the invitation to judge and especially to all the sporting Kerry exhibitors today for the opportunity to go over youâ re lovely dogs, I thoroughly enjoyed my appointment & the Bailey' s irish cream which as a judges present was most appropriate for an irish breed.
Puppy Dog (4:2)
1st McCann' s Ballybaloe the Minstrel â well balanced head, well laid shoulders, short back, good coat texture nicely proportioned all through.
2nd Philips Homles Ragged Stone â Smaller type than 1st compact pup with lots to like super bone and a powerful rear end covered the ground well in profile, preferred the shoulder of 1st.
Junior Dog (2:0)
1st Walters Kebulak Blue Faced Lie Kamaghan â Well grown, Good coat & colour, nice neck and shoulder, clean front, movement could have been more settled.
2nd Philips Homles Ragged Stone
Limit Dog (1:0)
1st & Best Opposite sex in show - Forrest & Scottâ s Lacarnaveen The one & Only â super clean, long lean head, nice front, good coat and colour super attitude, not moving to advantage.
Open Dog (3:2)
1st Butler & Seddon' s Lemracdream Donatello - beautifully handled and presented, powerful masculine head a powerhouse on the move in profile a little close when viewed from the rear.
Puppy Bitch (2:0)
1st Clarke-O' neill, Easton & McKayâ s Ballybalue Athena at lemracdream Very feminine clean head, decent ears, well laid shoulder, good front, nice rib and loin showing signs of colour starting to change a well balanced picture on the move BPIS
2nd Pinfold' s Cyres Angelique Lots of attitude from this girl a bit rangier than first and not as positive on the move as first.
Junior Bitch (3:1)
1st Clarke O neillls Lemracdream against all Odz â super clean head, ears a little unsettled although the echoes in this annexe didnâ t help ear carriage across the board today, nice neck and shoulder, compact and shapely, level topline, and plenty behind the tail, good stifle bend, sound from all angles moved with reach and drive RBB and RBIS
2nd Taylor' s Lansmar Minnie the Minx
Post Graduate Bitch (3:2)
1st Forest & Scott' s Lacarnaveen My Little Rose, ultraclean head on this very feminine bitch, colour is changing, she was not having fun at all today and did not move to advantage, I hope she gets over this little episode as she is very pretty.
Limit Bitch (4:1)
1st Hetherington' s Irisblu Aiveen for Newent - A complete picture today, a mature 3 year old bitch, good for size and in super coat of good colour, texture and condition, clean head, well placed ears and super expression, decent shoulders & straight front, level topline, good rib, tail on top with a good shelf behind, super reach and drive when viewed in profile and positive movement when viewed from front and rear BB& Best in Show.
2nd McCann' s Ballybaloe Mary Poppins - very nice head and ears, a well put together bitch all through and with attitude by the bucketload, just a little bit rangier than 1st and not as much behind the tail
3rd Munro' s Arkama Guilty Pleasure
