KERRY BLUE PAIGNTON 14 Judge: Mr J Luscott BEST OF BREED : 1442 CLARKE-O'NEILL Miss C Ch Lemracdream The Navigator KERRY BLUE JUDGE PAIGNTON 14 Kerry Blue Terriers Thanks for a great entry of good quality dogs with close choices especially in the open classes. PD (3,1a) 1 Gallett’s Lakki Kerri Vero Cavaliero, impressive youngster with the balance, neck, front, rear & topline. He has the build so far, with nice angles & quarters. He carries the head type with the alert earset & moved to take the decision here. BP; 2 Munro’s Arkama Jack To A King, lovely type with the head, ear & jaw, strong muzzle, excellent standing. Just not settled on the move today but shows lots of promise. JD (1) 1 Davani’s Kebulak Lady Killer, strong, upstanding boy with the front, neck, body & rear end. More to develop in quarters, muscletone & has the coat coming through. Little more length in head to balance overall would enhance the outline & profile. PGD (1) 1 Rathbone’s Kebulak Blue Demon in Qaraqul, good overall balance, loved the type in head, neck, ear & alert eye. Good length through head & balance to body. Strong quarters, tail set on OK but flattens on move. Has a good true action front & rear. Side could drive a little more. Coat cover OK. LD (0). OD (4) Good competitive class here. 1 Clarke-O’Neill’s Ch Lemracdream The Navigator, compact, powerful & impressive boy with the balance, outline & shape. He has the style, muscular condition throughout his frame, he has the length of head, well set ear, dark eye & strong jaw. He is balanced with the right angles, good front, body & rear end. Carries the coat & won the decision on the move with his free & determined stride to take the class. CC & BOB; 2 Weatherhead’s Ch Hallsblu Fibber Magee, square, solid & balanced, he is good over the head proportions, strong jaw & dark eye, good front & depth of chest with the rib & topline. Carries his tail & has the coat, soft & silky. Not quite the front action of 1 in the end decision but has the muscle & power. RCC; 3 Somers’ Dogazzas Rhythm And Blues. PB (3) 1 Jones’ Arkama Harmony Miss D’arcy, lovely youngster with the shape & development in head length, good ear & eye set with the enthusiasm & expression. Slightly longer in body at this stage but moving well with the bone & substance. Well held tail. Very promising; 2 Davani’s Kebulak Playing With Fire, good balance on this compact girl. She has the headpiece, well set ear & dark eye, pigment to finish, well built in chest, topline & tailset, good action & moving well; 3 Gallett’s Lakki Kerri Grand Alpha. JB (2) 1 A Harmony Miss D’arcy; 2 Rathbone’s Kebulak Lady Godiva In Qaraqul, has the strength & length in head proportions, she has the neck & overall balance. Not the biggest but has the balance in body & chest. She moved OK but needs to develop the attitude & oomph to give her the advantage. PGB (1) 1 Carson’s Kebulak Miss Sixty, attitude & authority greet you on this strong compact girl. She has the balance & outline, nice head type, ear set & jaw, strong muzzle & teeth. She is built well in chest, front & angles. I liked her power in the rear. She has good coat cover, is upstanding & pushed in the challenge. LB (1) A. OB (5,1) 1 Neill’s Ir Ch Kebulak Filthy Love, impressive, powerful & muscular build on this alert & balanced girl. She carries the head, ear & eye, is determined & has the strength in jaw. She is strong in neck, body & chest with good rib length, topline & tail. She was moving well in all directions. Has the coat & put on a show with her style & enthusiasm. CC; 2 Davies’ Millsblu Living The Dream at Perrisblu, attractive youngster, has the strength & power required, she is typical through skull, muzzle, jaw, dark eye & earset. She is developing in body, chest & front, good solid topline & rear end. She has lots of potential. Not quite the enthusiasm of 1 today but goes with a good action & carries the coat of good type to finish the picture. RCC; 3 Pinfold’s Cyres Born To Thrill. JEFF LUSCOTT |
