A disappointing entry numerically but I was more than pleased with my main winners.

PGD (2)

1 & CC, Hetherington’s Newent Soul Man. Coming 2 years. Substantial male. I would prefer a finer scull but pleasing head proportions, good eye, neat ears well used, strong muzzle excellent bite and pigmention. Clean reachy neck running into a well laid shoulder. Good legs and feet, well ribbed, strong loin with good topline and tailset. Plenty behind the tail, well angulated quarters, short hocks. Silky coat with signs of colouring. Came into his own on the move showing excellent drive and front extension.

2 White’s Lansmars Earl Ragnar. Not the substance of winner. Correct scull to muzzle proportions, good eye and ear giving a pleasing expression. Decent angulation front and rear, well ribbed with good topline and tailset. Correct coat texture and moved with drive.

LD (1)

1 Walker’s Glenachall Peaky Blinder With Teastasmor Ir Jun Ch. Long lean correctly proportioned head, clean cheeks though muzzle a little weak. Nice eye, good ear and pleasing expression. Would prefer a better lay of shouder, short coupled with good topline and tailset. Moved a shade close behind and without the preferred reach and drive.

OD (3, 1)

1 & RCC, Forest & Scott’s Ch Lacarnaveen The One And Only. Pleasing long lean head, well proportioned with strong muzzle, good bite. Clean reachy neck running into well laid shoulders, well ribbed, firm topline, strong loin. Good tailset. Well angulated quarters. Lovely coat colour and texture. Moved with reach and drive. Deserving champion, Close decision just preferred the overall shape of CC winner on the move.

2 Davani’s Kubulak Wear My Kiss. Pleasing head proportions, long and lean with correct bite. Good eye and well placed ears. Well ribbed, strong loin, firm topline with good tailset. Enough rear angulation with short hock. Moved with drive though could be more positive in front.

JB (1)

1 & RCC, Anderson & Watt’s Irisblu Viola. 14 months with lovely coat colouring nicely. Pleasing head and expression, clean skull and cheek, strong muzzle with excellent bite and pigmention. Good eye and well placed ears. Just a little wayward using them today. Reachy neck running into well laid shoulders, well ribbed, short firm loin. Firm topline, good tailset. Moved freely with great drive and front extension.

PGB (1)

1 Smith’s Lacarnaveen Bonnie Jean. Would prefer more strength overall but has a clean scull and cheek, nice eye. Well placed ear but could use better. Reachy neck running into well laid shoulders, a little overdone in rib. Firm loin, good topline and tailset. Moved with drive and extension.

OB (2)

1, CC & BOB, Clarke-O’Neill’s Ch Lemracdream Against All Odz. Lovely head and expression. Long and lean with plenty of strength, good eye, well placed and used ears. Clean reachy neck running into well laid shoulders. Well ribbed, strong loin, firm topline with good tailset. Well angulated quarters with plenty of bum, short hock. Excells on the move with great drive and extension keeping a great outline Pleasing coat and colour. For BOB just felt this bitch the more finished of the CC winners and presented a steadier picture on the move, lovely pair.

2 Davani’s Kubuak Dirty Little Secret. Pleasing head proportions, clean scull and cheek, strong muzzle, good bite. Well ribbed, strong loin, firm topline and good tailset. Not quite the angulation of winner. Moved steadily.
