Kerry Blue Terriers

Thanks for allowing me to judge your dogs, I appreciate the time & expense that goes into dog showing these days. For a numerically small breed, its surprising how different in type they are. Temperaments were good, & only one ‘pink’ mouth.

1 Earle & Kelly’s Micudladh Edge Of Glory, 7 months very promising baby, lovely head & expression with well set ears, dark eye, good bite, good outline, soft silky coat. Good neckline & body shape. Moved well when he settled.

JD (2)

Both attractive youngsters.

1 Ensell’s Nemiah Lanisters Gold, well made compact young male with pleasing outline & good ribcage, decent head & expression, good bite, shoulders OK. Good stifle, well bent with low hocks, lovely silky coat, good tailset. Front action a bit more positive than

2 Davani’s Kebulak Kiss This, lovely temperament, decent head & expression, good mouth, slightly longer & narrower than 1. Moved OK. Would prefer more bend of stifle & hind angulation. Well presented.

1 O’Rourke’s Kebulak Rockin Robin, nicely balanced dog, changing colour, soft coat, compact outline with decent ribs, moved OK. Needs a bit more length & strength in head. Good mouth & bite.

OD (3)

1 Clarke O’Neill’s Lemracdream Rough Diamond, upstanding, powerful male, good outline, dark slate blue coat of good texture, dark eye good bite, head a little too strong. Great ribs & well developed hindquarters, good tailset & carriage. Strong, reachy neck with good shoulders, moved with purpose although slightly close behind. CC & BOB;

2 Davani & Neill’s Ir Ch Kebulak Dirty Harry, another good male with super head & expression, good ears, dark eye, good bite, colour coming, soft coat. Slightly longer cast than 1, moves well coming & going. Would prefer more bend of stifle & hind angulation but well deserved of his title. RCC.

1 Clarke O’Neill’s Lemracdream Blue Ivy, attractive puppy with good head, dark eye & good bite, good neckline & shoulders, slightly long coupled. Great backend with plenty behind the tail. Moves well with tail on top. BP & PG2.

As litter sisters, the first two in this class could easily change places, I liked both.

1 Munro’s Nemiah Poetry In Motion Arkama, pretty bitch with clean head & sharp expression. Beautiful soft silky coat & is already a great colour, moves OK when she settles;

2 Ensell’s Nemiah Khaleesi Blue, very nice youngster, with better overall body shape than 1. Her head is a little stronger, still waiting for colour as befits her age, but her coat is of lovely texture. She also needs to settle on the move;

3 O’Rourke’s Kebulak Filthy Naughty.

1 Rafter’s Arkama My Way, nicely balanced bitch, good head & neat ears when she uses them. Coat of good texture, changing colour. Tail set could be better. Moved steadily & true coming & going;

2 Earle & Kelly’s Dollagh All That Jazz, slightly long in loin with low tailset. Clean head, dark eye, but low ear set spoils the expression. Good coat texture, moved OK.

Two nice bitches.

1 Pinfold’s Cyres Born To Thrill, promising, very pleasing outline, compact bitch with good head, dark eyes, good bite, good neckline & shoulder, good ribcage, good topline & backend with decent tailset. Soft coat with colour coming, moves with purpose. Just needs to carry her tail better while standing. RCC;

2 Forrest & Scott’s Lacarnaveen Mary Kate, pretty bitch, neat head & ears, decent neckline, moves steadily, plenty of colour, carries her tail well.

OB (6)

1 Forrest & Scott’s Lacarnaveen Orla, lovely head & neck, dark eye, good bite, ears good giving correct expression. Slightly long coupled but good topline & backend with great outline on the move, good tail carriage. Colour coming. Soft coat. Very true coming & going CC;

2 Peacock’s Rimbert Queen Aravis, lovely outline standing, good head & expression. Decent neck line, compact bitch with good backend & tailset, soft coat, showing enough colour. Lost out to 1 on movement, she was very lethargic;

3 Davani’s Kebulak Striptease.
