Thank you to the Officers and Committee for inviting me to judge at your show. Of particular concern to me is coat quality and texture. We seem to be moving towards producing dogs, with a crisp, woolly texture, which is not what a Kerry Blue Terrier should have. Nevertheless, there were some 'top drawer' exhibits, which were more than worthy of their honours!

This was a quality class, with some very nice youngsters to watch!

1 Craig's Catachgorm Glasnost Clanciarrai. Upstanding young male, excels in headpiece, dark eye, very keen expression, good pigmentation, correct scissor bite. Straight front, good layback of shoulder, which gives this lad a lovely length of neck. Short coupled, good bend of stifle, well muscled. Carried his topline on the move. Tail on top. RDCC.

2 O'Rourke's Kebulak Peaky Blinder. Another upstanding young male, very similar to first. Decent headpiece, very keen, dark eye, correct scissor bite. Good layback of shoulder, short coupled, correct coat and texture. Could change places on another day.

1 Forrest & Scott's Lacarnaveen The One & Only. Stallion of a male, who has matured beautifully. Impressive headpiece, dark eye, good pigmentation, great shoulder placement, straight front, short backed, good depth of chest, short coupled, lovely muscle, correct coat and colour. When settled commanded the ring and moved with purpose. Lovely to hear this is his crowning CC. All credit to his handler. I was pleased to see him go Terrier Group 2. DCC & BOB.

2 Davani's Kebulak Wear My Kiss. Impressive male, handsome head, dark eye, correct scissor bite, good depth of chest, short backed, short coupled, good muscle, moved well back and forth.

1 Davani's Kebulak La Robe. Wow, this puppy caught my eye. She can be a little naughty, but all is forgiven. So feminine, exquisite head, dark eye, correct scissor bite, good layback of shoulder, short backed, short coupled. When she moves, she floats around the ring. Correct coat, wavy and silky. BCC.

1 Craig's Catachagorm The Enchantress. Feminine head, ears on top, dark eye, correct scissor bite, good layback of shoulder, level topline, short coupled. Lovely coat texture, colour changing, just needs to be a little more confident.

LB

1 Ensell's Balboa Day Tripper At Nei mah (Imp Ita). Lovely head, dark eye, good scissor bite, used ears well. Level topline, short backed. Coat, not as silky and wavy as it should be. Moved well back and forth.

OB

1 Clarke-O'Neill's Ch Lemracdream Against All Odz. Super feminine girl. Lovely head, dark eye, scissor bite, good neck, shoulder placement, level topline, well ambulated and muscled. RBCC.

2 Ensell's Ch Nemiah Shades Of Grey. Flashy girl. Super head, dark eye, scissor bite. Short backed, short coupled. Tail on top and very keen. Disappointed in her coat texture today.
