Many thanks to the committee of Windsor Ch Show for the invitation to judge my original and much loved breed. Many thanks also for the help and support of my two lovely Stewards and for the sporting attitude of the exhibitors. The temperament of the exhibits was friendly and happy to be handled making for a very pleasant day all round.
VETERAN (1; 0)
1,Joalyn Sweet Melody (Jones) Attractive 7 year old Bitch with a balanced head, dark eye and neat well set ears. A good neck leading into well laid shoulders, a level short-coupled topline and well set tail. Good angulation front and rear. Coat te and colour correct. Veteran group 4. Congratulations|
PUPPY DOG (2 0)
1,Kebulak That’s A Wrap (Davani & Potts) 10 months pup. Long balanced head, dark eye and well set and carried ears. Reachy neck into very well laid shoulder. . Topline and tail set and carriage all good and maintained on the move. Moved with reach and drive and a confident attitude. BPIB and BPIG Congratulations!.
2. Brocairegorm Clover Blue Moon. (Bagworth & Connor) Another 10 month pup unlucky to meet the winner to day. Up to size and raw at the moment but all the essentials are there as far as construction is required. Silky coat. Moved soundly and with confidence.
JUNIOR DOG (2;0)
1 Kebulak Royal Flush (O’Rourke) 16 mth dog with long balanced head, dark eyes and well carried ears. Good neck into well laid shoulders and level topline with well set and carried tail but would prefer slightly shorter coupling. Good bone and substance and moved well. a
2. Joalyn Royal Joey (Leenderts) 14 months smaller dog Neat balanced head with dark eye. Fair neck and shoulders into level topline. Colour coming through well. Not as confident on the move as the winner but sound. Has time on his side.
OPEN DOG (2;2)
1. Catachgorm Checkmate by Dogazza (Somers) Impressive 4 year old. Long lean head, dark eyes and well set and carried ears. Strong neck into well laid shoulders. Straight front and well sprung ribs. Level, short-coupled topline with well set and carried tail. Well angulated front and rear. Parallel movement with reach and drive. Sporting a correctly coloured jacket with silky texture and shine. Definitely “Fit for Function” CC & BOB
2. Balboa Giramondo (McGarr) Another typical and well balanced dog unlucky to meet the winner today. Good head with dark eye and well carried ears. Well made throughout and moved efficiently with the required reach and drive. Good coat and colour. Presented a good outline standing and on the move. RDCC.
SPECIALBEGINNERS (1;0)
1 Kentwone Sapphire (Ashmore) Pretty 3 year old bitch with a typical feminine size and outline. Neat, balanced head and dark eye. Well constructed throughout with balanced angulation. Lacks confidence on the move but basically sound and will improve With more experience.
PUPPY BITCH (2;0)
1.Brocairegorm Nprth and South. (Bagworth & Connor) 10 month mature pup up to size but well constructed. Balanced head, dark eye and well carried ears. Neck, shoulder, topline and tailset all correct with balanced angulation. Excellent coat texture. Moved well and with confidence
2. Kebulak Velvet Rose at Kefoxini. (McFadden) Pretty pup with balanced head ,dark eyes and feminine expression. Well constructed throughout and presenting an attractive outline standing. Coat of good texture. Very promising girl but movement irregular at times today. Will watch her progress with interest.
JUNIOR BITCH (1;0)
1. Joalyn Parsley Moon (Jones) 14 month girl with attractive head with kind expression, dark eyes and neat ears. Good neck, shoulders and topline but would prefer a little more rear angulation. Coat colour coming well. Moved soundly away and back.
LIMIT BITTCH (1;0)
1. Pillow Talk at Dogazza (Somers) 3 year old bitch with definite Kerry expression and attitude. Long lean head , dark eye and neat ears used well. Well constructed throughout. Strong neck into well laid shoulder, level topline, short coupled and well set tail. Well angulated front and rear and moved with precision and animation. BCC.
OPEN BITCH (2;0)
1. Kebulak Plum Pudding (Davani & Potts) Compact, mature bitch presenting a typical outline. Balanced all through with good neck, shoulder, topli(ne and tailset. Well balanced angulation giving sound and easy movement though I would have preferred a little more animation. Super coat and colour. RCC
2. Ch Cyres Nancy Drew 20 month taller bitch with a lot to like. Well proportioned head with dark eye and well carried ears. Reachy neck into level topline. Coupling and tailset good. Moves freely but appears to lose co-ordination at times. Correct coat texture but colour still needs to clear.
