MANCHESTER BATH 14 Judge: Miss F Freer BEST OF BREED : 1517 OXLEY, Mr M & Mrs G M & OXLEY Miss S R Ch Digelsa De Ja Vu JW Sh.CM MANCHESTER JUDGE BATH 14 Manchester Terriers The weather unfortunately was not on our side which made assessing the dogs to their full potential a little trying. However the exhibitors coped very well & my wonderful stewards, the two ‘Rons’ made for a very enjoyable appointment. On the whole I thought breed type was a little sporadic & movement left a lot to be desired. Mouths were all good & most were of good size. PD, JD, ND, PGD & LD (0). OD (4) 1 Saville’s Calastoa’s Man In The Mirror of Dobermatian, masculine dog, correct outline & arch over loin. Strong head, dark & almond eye. Ears well set & used. Good straight front & moved well. Didn’t make the job easy for his handler but very pleased to award him the CC; 2 Dunford, Akrigg & Walton’s Ch Quixol Alexander, a bigger dog than 1. Shown in good condition & well muscled. Correct eye, big teeth, could have used ears better. Moved well. RCC; 3 Buxton’s Millacome Made In Heaven. PB (5,1a) 1 Wicker’s Mimbre Bombette, 6 months bitch. Well bodied, needs to muscle up in rear but this will come with time. Lovely eye & head. Good thumbprints. Moved well. BP; 2 Cawley’s Marlable In A Twirl, I liked this bitch & on the stand quite impressive however needs more schooling as lost out on playing handler up on the move. Feminine head with small v shaped ears; 3 Young’s Mimbre Monsoon Class. JB (5) 1 Leigh’s Am Can Jetcity Cat Woman Sings The Blues to Mansiya, a super bitch who I think will have a lot to offer the breed as she matures over the next couple of months. I liked her a lot. Smart in every way. Lovely wedge shaped head, dark eye, big teeth. Correct ears & nicely used. With a bit more experience she will be one to watch; 2 Smith’s Simjest Kiara’s Candy Girl, another quality bitch just didn’t move as well as 1 today. Feminine head. Good size & well proportioned. Well angulated & gave a good outline; 3 Thurlow’s Erkenwyne Lady Guinevere. NB (1) 1 Young’s Mimbre Monsoon, nice sized bitch. Moved a little wide in front. Pleasing head & ears. Tight feet. Shown in good coat & condition. PGB (4) 1 Buxton’s Millacome Maid Of Magic, showy bitch. Gave a good outline on & off the move. Lovely head & dark almond eye. Correct feet & thumbprints OK. Good arch over loin & tuck-up. Moved well; 2 Saville’s Querceti Isadora for Dobermatian, beautiful bitch shown in tip-top condition. Lovely ears well set & used. Well muscled. Just didn’t move as well as 1 today; 3 E Lady Guinevere. LB (3) 1 Smith’s Calastoa’s Lady Of Meltham at Simjest, lovely bitch on the stand, would have liked tighter feet. Strong head & expression, dark eye. Moved OK; 2 Cawley’s Digelsa Dancing With Darla, smaller bitch than 1. Pleasing head. Didn’t move as well as 1, pulling away from handler. Gave a lovely outline on the stand; 3 Boggis’ Ddraigdu Misty For Me at Laurenbill. OB (3) 1 Oxley’s Ch Digelsa De Ja Vu, this bitch was on the top of her game today pulling out all the stops. Perfect ear set & well used. Big teeth. Nice size. Tight semi-hare footed feet. Correct thumbprints & markings. Lovely outline & arch over the loin. A pleasure to judge today & a pleasure to award CC & BOB; 2 Saxton & Dale’s Rattustrap Top Totty, unfortunate to come up against 1 today. I liked this bitch as a puppy & she has grown on not to disappoint me. Shown to perfection by her handler. Lost out on movement today & preferred the earset of 1. Lovely sized bitch that I am sure will have her day. RCC; 3 Dunford & Akrigg’s Paucelin Armana by Quixol. F FREER |
