MANCHESTER BATH 17 Judge: Mr D W Shields BEST OF BREED : 1410 OXLEY, Mr & Mrs M & G & OXLEY Miss S R Digelsa D' Amour MANCHESTER JUDGE BATH 17 Manchester Terriers PD (0). ND (1) 1 Sharpe’s Erkenwyne Othello at Rosettia, upstanding sort but still presents a balanced picture. Good head shape with a lovely dark eye & the best of expressions. Well made front assembly with good depth. Strong well muscled hindquarters that he used to advantage on the move, sound. PGD (3,1a) 1 Straughan & Cripp’s Talanors In For A Treat, pleasing size, compact & has the required substance to complete the picture. Very typical in head, well set ears & a good eye colour. Strong neck set in well placed shoulders, firm body & nicely angulated quarters. Moved well both fore & aft; 2 E Othello at R. LD (1) 1 Church’s Rattustrap Charlie Brown, appealed for his overall balance & has the elegance & substance that the Standard asks for. Good head with the required length, clean & shows no sign of coarseness. Best of legs & feet, short backed with a pleasing topline & tailset. Soundest of movers with a very positive action. RCC. OD (1) 1 Walshaw’s Talanors Diamonds ‘N’ Dreams avec Janmark, another who is very well balanced throughout. Good size, compact & built on clean lines. Very pleasing head with a typical outlook, strong neck a good layback of shoulder, well sprung ribs & good width of hindquarters. Put down in first class order on the day. Very sound on the move with good reach & drive. CC. PB (4,1) 1 Saville’s Simjest Back To Black by Dobermatian, very forward young lady who again combines the required substance with an elegant & compact appearance. Good head & eye with the keenest of expressions. Well developed body for her age with a correct topline & tailset & a pleasing bend of stifle. Best of movers with a free & easy action. BP; 2 Knight’s Talanors Diamond Treat, very much a baby but she appealed greatly & I am sure she will have a very promising future. Lovely head with the neatest of ears, good dark eye with that ‘almond’ shape & brightest of expressions. Best of fronts standing on good legs & feet & pleasing depth. Once she settled moved very soundly; 3 Hayward’s Rosettia Rhapsody. NB (0). PGB (1) 1 Boot’s Ttombowor Princess Phoebe, pleasing make & shape & well made throughout. Balanced head with good strength of under jaw & the required depth of muzzle. Good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders, firm well muscled body & strong well rounded quarters. Soundest of movers. LB (3) 1 Marshall’s Talanors Treat Me Special at Jepejo, another good one from this kennel. Appealed for size & her overall balance & very typical outlook. Best of heads, small neat ears that she carries well, good dark eye & keen expression. Very clean over the neck & shoulders, short backed & pleasing hindquarters. Moved well; 2 Sharpe’s Rosettia High Hopes, presents a pleasing picture both stood & on the move. Good size, feminine throughout but has the required substance & bone to complete the picture. Pleasing head, eye & expression. Straight front, narrow & deep, pleasing topline & tailset & a good bend of stifle. Moved soundly; 3 Heller’s Limoncello Cecilia Beaux. OB (2) 1 Oxley’s Digelsa D’Amour, lovely bitch from all angles, compact appearance with the elegance & substance the Standard asks for. In fit & hard condition & was really on her toes for the job in hand. Good head shape with the required length, & a lovely eye & expression. Well made front assembly, good spring of rib & strong well rounded quarters. In excellent coat & condition & such a sound mover with good reach & drive. CC & BOB; 2 Cawley’s Ch Marlablue In A Twirl, another very good one, so typical throughout & pushed the winner all the way. Excellent make & shape & she fits the Standard well. Best of heads with a clean & smooth appearance. Scores in neck & shoulders, good legs & feet, pleasing body shape & well angulated hindquarters. Moved soundly with a lovely ground covering action.
