MANCHESTER JUDGE BATH 19

I would like to thank the Society for the opportunity to judge today and also thank you to the exhibitors who brought such lovely, fit and well behaved dogs. The weather began quite windy and showery but settled down enough to use the outside.

PD (1)

1 Oxley & Oxley’s Digelsa Double Top. Up to size, very strong wedge shaped head, ears a touch heavy, however he has lovely dark almond shaped eye, nice reach of neck with the required crest, deep chest and correct angulation throughout. Alert and showing himself off well. Moved well with drive. RCC.

JD (1)

1 Boot’s Harliboo Word Gets Around. Up to size. Nice wedge shaped head with long skull, correct scissor bite, correct rear angulation with good tuck up and fall on croup to allow the required tail set. Moved quite true but would like more drive and sparkle in the challenge. Very close call for RCC.

LD (2)

1 Almond’s Eaglespur Classic Charmer. Large size masculine boy but in proportion. Good wedge shaped head but ears a little heavy. Good layback of shoulder and bend of stifle, shown in good condition.

2 Holmes’ Egloshayle Black Dylan. Another large sized masculine dog. Good flat wedge shaped skull with nice ear set, good spring of rib and correct rear angulation. Close call but lost out to first on front movement.

OD (2)

1 Carter’s Ch Digelsa Declaration. Standard sized dog with excellent head, flat and wedge shaped, dark eye and correct ear carriage. Good reach of neck flowing into clean shoulders. Front legs set well, under the body. Good angulation especially rear to provide the excellent drive. Always alert and friendly with charisma and shown in such fit condition. BOB. Excellent representation for the breed in a strong terrier group where he was awarded Group 4.

2 Hebb’s Paucelin Falster. Standard sized dog, less masculine than first but lots to like about him. Good wedge shaped head, ears and his general breed type. Good bend of stifle but today was upset by the noise from the wind on the marquee. He did settle a little in the challenge for RCC but unfortunately not enough.

MPB (1)

1 Davies & Brown’s Digelsa Dark Indulgence At Wystry. Good wedge shaped head with nice ears, dark eye and correct scissor bite. Good reach of neck and nice angulation and gave a lovely profile. Mature girl for her age with good body and substance, however, she was a little erratic today and not quite settled.

JB (1)

1 Almond’s Digelsa Diamond Diva. Good shaped skull with a nice feminine head, good depth of brisket and good tuck up. Angulation ok, moved well once settled.

NB (2) 1 Davies & Brown’s Digelsa Dark Indulgence At Wystry. As above.

2 Room’s Landover Coco Chanel. Pretty head with dark eye and correct bite, good length of neck, nice topline and good tail set, would prefer more bend of stifle.

LB (1)

1 West’s Pantycelyn Picture Perfect With Junetta. Stood alone but a nice girl with correct wedge shaped head with dark eye, ears could be higher. Correct crest of neck and topline. Plenty of body and substance. Moved well but lost out in challenge to two top quality bitches in open class.

OB (4)

Super quality class of young girls.

1 Walshaw’s Janmark Back T’black. Good standard size bitch who showed well throughout. Lovely femine wedge shaped head, almond dark eye, correct crest of neck into a really good topline and croup to give the correct tail set. Good angulation front and rear. Moved really well with good drive and pushed hard in BOB challenge.

2 Cawley’s Ch Marlablue In A Twirl ShCM. Another correct size quality bitch, feminine throughout, good head, depth of chest, angulation front and rear, top line and tail set. Moved well with drive. Close call but just lost to the sparkle of first today. RCC.

3 Greenslade’s Utterbygreen Mint Chocolat ShCM.

VB (2)

1 Greenslade’s Calastoa’s Material Girl. Another nice standard size bitch. Nice head with good ear set and dark eye. Compact body, good top line but over weight today. Well marked and keeping her rich tan well.

2 Buxton’s Millacome Maid Of Magic. Another nice veteran, good wedge shaped head, ears a little low. Good crest of neck and plenty of body. Good front and rear angulation but lost out today on movement.
