MANCHESTER BATH 21 Judge: Mr C Scanlan MANCHESTER JUDGE BATH 21 I would like to take the opportunity to thank the committee and officers of Bath Canine Society for inviting me to judge at there prestigious show awarding Challenge Certificates for the first time in Manchester Terriers, and to the exhibitors for a nice entry and great day, thank you. It was a fantastic day with the Terrier Groups also with placings for all, so I was thoroughly pleased for all involved. 1 Oxley’s Digelsa Double Agent. Seven and a half mth old puppy dog, up to size, who stood alone but didn’t disappoint, plenty of substance, very keen and alert for his handler, beautiful head of correct proportions, correct bite, enough rib, hindquarters well developed, well bent stifle, moved well both ways which won him the class and Dog CC with Best of Breed also taking PG4, well done, I will watch his progress as he develops. 1 Knight & Knight’s Talanors Typically Elite. Stood well with good presence in the ring, beautiful headb wedge shaped with long skull, correct scissor bite, dark eye, set on tail carried correctly, short tight glossy coat, correctly marked, good rear angulation moved well. 2 Plant’s Plantocracy Bold Bruce JW. Slighter dog than first. Compact dog, keen and alert for his handler, good dark eye, correct scissor bite, clean shoulders and quarters, well sprung rib, moved well. 1 Holmes & Holmes’ Egloshayle Black Dylan. 6 year old dog in beautiful condition, overall a very nice dog of good proportions all round, clean front, short clean coat, strong muscular hindquarters with a good bend of stifle, moved and worked well with his handler. 1 Warner’s Talanors Time For Fun. A good sized dog fit and muscular who worked so well with his handler. Beautiful proportions throughout, correct head with wedge shape, small dark eye with correct expression, a good front, correct neck into good shoulder, moved well enough to secure RDCC and third in the Special Beginners’ Terrier Group, well done. 2 Spain & Spain’s Ch Talanors Diamond Tornado. Another great example of the breed, lovely dog with nice head and reach of neck, dood terrier type liked his size, clean bite, good rib, good bend of stifle, he was extremely well balanced, moved well both ways. 3 Boot’s Harliboo Word Gets Around. 1 Warner’s Talanors Time For Fun. Please see OD. 2 Watkins’ Ruffagga Bewitching Girl. 19 month old bitch, correct size with nice elegant outline I would have possibly liked a bit more overall, feminine head, ear carriage correct and nice eye placement, moved well for handler. 1 Cawley’s Ch Marlablue In A Twirl ShCM. Nearly 8 years old, beautiful bitch still in top class condition for age, good for size but not overdone in any department with a good head shape and size, clean bite, eyes correct with good ear set, short tight clean coat, an elegant bitch who looked good on the move and stood in the line up RBCC and Terrier Veteran Group Winner Well done. 1 Knight & Knight’s Talanors Destiny Angel. Still very much a baby but didn’t disappoint, 7 months old beautiful pup, correct size with nice outline, feminine head with good ear carriage and nice keen eye with a good expression, moved well and unlucky to come up against the BOB winner for best puppy, bright future ahead. 1 Forshaw & Forshaw’s Jandor Moonlight Melody.
