MANCHESTER BATH 25 Judge: Mr M Walshaw PD (1) 1 Axaldarn Viking Wolf (Lomas) .A nicely made youngster who pleased in type, balance and overall conformation. Typical in head, a good strength of jaw, a little heavy in ears and eye could be darker. Neck nicely crested and leading into a well placed front, stood well on good bone and tidy feet. Well bodied with enough substance. Smart topline and tailset. Moved ok. JD (2) 1 Safiette Theos Doron (Bodsworth). This young fellar was built on good lines and pleased in many areas. Ok through head, but would prefer a darker eye and ears a little heavy. Clean through neck, shoulders and well made front assembly. Correct topline and tailset. Good bone and substance for size. Very clean markings throughout, clean thumbprints and pencilling. Moved cleanly. 2 Rattustrap Crimes at Night (Bailey & Hancocks). This youngster is still growing and filling and has not matured fully. He is good for type, of a smaller in size and finer than the winner, would prefer a more masculine head. Had settled ears and a keen expression, correct topline and tailset. Angles and markings ok throughout. PGD (3) 1 Rattustrap Crimes at Night (Bailey & Hancocks) 2 Rattustrap Beer Humbug (Earle) Heavier built male, strong in head, jaw, dentition typical expression, but spoiled by ears. He had substance, good bone and stood on tidy feet. Angulation was OK. Would prefer a smaller vent and there was breeching on rear legs. He moved steadily. 3 Kaiser Aurora Dream Katar (Bird) LD (2) 1 Wystry Depths of Glory for Sizlin JW (Walker) this nearly 2 year old youngster ticked a lot of boxes. Hes of good size, balanced throughout, presents a typical outline and well marked. Pleasing through head, dark eye and typical expression, however could use ears more. He has strength and substance, but not overdone. Clean though well placed front, smart topline with correct arch, leading into a good tailset and carriage. Good depth of brisket and well cut up, with clen ribbing. Well marked with small vent. Lovely mover, covering cleanly. Moved well in the challenge to clinch RCC. 2 Wystry Dempsey’s Tipple JW (Davies-Brown) Smaller built male than 1 and would like a little more strength throughout. Clean through neck, front ok, good depth of rib and correct tuck up. Topline would be improved with a cleaner croup and lower tailset. Smart feet. Well marked and small vent. Moved typically. OD (4) 1 Ch Talanors Time for Magic (Barlow). This 6 year old mature male is so clean to go over. Nothing over done on him and balanced throuhout. Clean head, wedged, with excellent ears and set, dark almond shaped eye and piercing expression. Clean though neck and front, good depth of chest and clean ribbing. Correct topline and tailset, tail carried well on the move. Ample bod, well angled rear and stood on semi hare feet. Clean markings, muscular body condition and glossy coat finished the picture. Couldn’t fault him on the move (when his head was in gear), foot perfect, covering the ground cleanly in all directions. He was certainly on his toes in the challenge. Delighted to award him the CC and BOB. Looked and went well in the group. 2 Ch Talanors Typically Elite (Knight). One I have judged before and impresses for overall type and balance. Hes a strong boy, masculine in head and substance throughout. Strong jaw, dark eye and uses his ears. Clean in front and smart topline and croup, with correct tailset. Good bone and in good muscular condition. Rich dark markings. Not the movement of one, he didn’t seem to settle and tends to lower his head, which spoils his profile on the send around. 3 Ch Talanors Time for Fun ShCEx (Warner) Special Beginner (2) 1 Rattustrap Crimes at Night (Bailey & Hancocks) 2 Kaiser Aurora Dream Katar (Bird). A strongly built male. As a good wedged head, with strength of jaw and good dentition. Ears rather unsettled and would prefer a darker eye. He has good bone, a well angled front and rear assembly. Clean Topline and tidy tailset. Markings were clean. JB (1) 1 Junetta Fenetta (West) .at 15 mths there was a lot to like about this young girl. She was good for size, balanced, typey and feminine. Built on clean lines and well angled throughout. Her head was clean, wedged, dark eye, ears ok and correct expression. Lovely neck, crested and good length, clean front and good depth of chest. Nicely ribbed and good tuck up. Tailset was good, correct rear angulation and stood on smart feet. Well marked. She moved very cleanly. She was considered in the challenge, but tended to flatten out in topline, as a touch long in body. PGB (2) 1 Holtaire Runa (Entwistle) upto size, but presented a good shape and balance in profile. Nicely headed, with dark eye, and good expression. Ok through neck, clean shoulders, well angled, ample bone, good depth chest and nicely ribbed, with a good tuck up. Strong quarters, tidy croup and tailset. A little untidy in movement but kept her topline. 2 Horsestones Hotpot (Walker). Not at all happy with herself today and reluctant to perform in movement. She was of a nice size, pleasing head shape, tidy ears but eye was very light and took the required expression away. Good depth, topline, croup and tailset. Markings ok. LB (1) 1 Magpiebank Breeze for Marlablue (Stockton) A 2 year old who is very feminine throughout. She is typical in type, good for overall size, pleasing head, with required expression and ears ok. Clean neck and front. Good depth of chest and smart tuck up. Would like more rear angulation which would also help in topline, as when stacked looks bum high. Sporting a gleaming jacket. Moved steadily fore and aft. OB (2) 1 Ch Black Bandits Anything Goes at Digelsa (Imp Deu) (Oxley) . A top size 4yr old bitch, who pleases for type and conformation. She is well built throughout. Typical head, strong jaw, dark eye and used her well placed ears. Ample neck, clean shoulders, good depth, well ribbed, tidy cut up, with clean underline and good topline, croup and tailset. She moved well in profile, keeping a good topline, I would prefer cleaner movement behind. CC. 2 Jandor Moonlight Melody (Forshaw). A 5yr old, who pleases for overall size, type and balance. Feminine throughout, pleasing in head, smart eye, ears good, when she decides to use them.neck, front, shoulders, width, depth of chest and tuck up all correct. She has a shapely topline and rear angles. Well marked. She is a steady clean mover, but never seems to put all in and wasn’t at her happiest again today. Well deserving of the RCC. Mark Walshaw (Janmark)
