MANCHESTER JUDGE BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 19

Sp Beginners D (1)

1 Warner’s Talanors Time For Fun. Compact dog, keen and alert, full on, well filled under the nice dark eye, regular scissor bite, clean forequarters, well sprung rib, just needs to settle a little more on the move. Best Sp Beginner.

MPD (3)

1 Oxley’s Digelsa Double Top. Up to size dog, elegant, plenty of substance, very keen full on terrier, nice wedge head of correct proprtions, good dentition, good spring of rib, hindquarters well muscled, well bent stifle, moved well both ways which won him the class BP, enjoyed watching him take Puppy Terrier Group 2 in a very strong line-up.

2 Warner’s Talanors Time For Fun. Repeat.

3 Barlow’s Talenors Time For Magic.

PD (2) Repeat of previous class.

JD (1)

1 Boot’s Harliboo Word Gets Around. Masculine head, long skull, good smooth wedge shape, correct scissor bite, dark eye, set on tail, short glossy coat, with correct markings, good angulation.

LD (3, 1)

1 Almond’s Eaglespur Classic Charmer. Had the better of the two ear set which won him the class, correct forequarters, straight front, good spring of rib, would like more rise over the loin, good overall angulation, correct tailset, moved ok both ways.

2 Bovill, Dale & Saxton’s Rattustrap Pot Kettle Black. Overall a very nice dog of good proportions, front narrow and deep, strong muscular hindquarters with a good bend of stifle, ears would not settle.

OD (5, 1)

1 Carter’s Ch Digelsa Declaration. Two excellent representatives of the breed and nit picking to separate, fit and muscular, flowing curves throughout, flat skull, correct proportion head with a clean wedge shape, small dark sparkling eye giving the correct expression, liked his superb front, correct neck into good shoulder, short well sprung rib, short set on tail, covered the ring with ease DCC BOB, watched to see him win the Champion stakes.

2 Walshaw’s Ch Talanors Diamonds N Dreams Avec Janmark JW Sh. Very similar to first, matched in many areas, small V shaped ears carried well above topline of a flat skull, correct dentition, front legs straight and under withers, just preferred the more streamline forequarters of first, correct rise and tailset, RCC.

3 Hebb’s Paucelin Falster. VD (3) 1 Olbinson & Kelly’s Paucelin Andoni At Carapast. In good condition for his age, keen head and expression, correct scissor bite, balanced head, has kept good muscle tone, moved powerfully around the ring which won him the class Best Veteran. 2 Cawley’s Victor James Montague. Elegant name for an elegant dog, correct head and mouth, straight front, good coat and colour, moved well both ways just preferred the muscletone of first. 3 Hemsell’s Tetani Wizard Of Dreams JW ShCM.

MPB (2)

1 Davis & Brown’s Digelsa Dark Indulgence At Wystry. Like this bitch who has an excellent future, very feminine, confident, sound throughout, good bite correct head proportions, correct ears, well placed shoulder and front, nice rise, good angulation, pushed hard against the dog puppy (litter sister) but I just preferred the dogs maturity and pushy presence in the challenge.

2 Harrison’s Rosadyva Midnight Sapphire. Gave away too much in maturity, time will give her more confidence, moved well going away, just preferred the ears of first.

PB (1)

1 Straughan & Cripps’ Talanors Time To Shine. Very classy bitch, liked her head and eye, good ear and dark eye, really good expression, I would like to have more of her all over to complete the picture, good front and rear quarters, moved with drive around the ring.

JB (1)

1 Almond’s Digelsa Diamond Diva. Attractive bitch, really good outline, correct angulation, straight front legs well tucked under withers, short coupled, correct tail, covered the ground around the ring well.

PGB (3, 1) 1 Hemsell’s Tetani Lux Mundi. Nice size, feminine head of good balance, correct bite, dark eye, used her ears well which won her the class, nice front quarters, moved well in front. 2 Cawley’s Marlablue Queen Bee. Excellent shape, would have more of her all over, good angulation, liked her expression and used her ears well, didn’t co-operate with her handler today.

LB (5, 1)

1 Church, Dale & Saxton’s Rattustrap Fade To Black. Strong class winner, correct size and shape, wedge shape head, good ear carriage, nice dark eye, correct dentition, clean neck, good overall proportions, nice angulation, used her ears to give the correct expression, won the class on overall movement both ways.

2 Olbinson & Kelly’s Rattustrap Citra At Carapast. Similar to first, covered the ground well, good rear angulation and movement, just preferred the front of first.

3 Goodwin’s Digelsa Date Night At Holtaire.

OB (4)

1 Walshaw’s Janmark Back T Black. In proportion and well balanced bitch, feminine, head with correct balance, good depth of muzzle, correct fore and hindquarters which gave her good movement both ways, enough muscle tone without exaggeration, good spring of rib, nice arch over the loin, carried her tail well, excellent shine and coat markings. BCC.

2 Walker’s Ch Talanors Treat Me Good At Sizlin ShCM. Unlucky to meet first on such good form, slightly smaller bitch than first but still has the quality, long tapering neck, good shoulders, ample bone and substance, well let down hocks, good bend of stifle. RBCC.

3 Cawley’s Ch Marlablue In A Twirl ShCM.

VB (2)

1 Hemsell’s Tetani Spirit Of The Wind. For 12 years and still enjoying the show, correct dentition, used her ears well which won her the class, nice front, covered the ground well.

2 Greenslade’s Calastoas Material Girl. Liked her shape, overall angulation, good front, moved well, would have changed places if she used her ears better.
