Thanks particularly to the stewards who judged non-stop from 10am to 3pm without a break. Some were definitely affected by the windy conditions particularly in ear carriage but I was more than happy with my winners. PD (1) 1 Freer & Priestman’s Felfree Top Oscar, promising 9 month old with a good body shape, lovely eye & expression with a good head coming, correct body proportions with a good topline & well set tail, moved very well despite his young. Just needs to body up to complete the picture but he is a quality youngster with much promise. BPD. JD (1) 1 Doherty’s Malskred Kaspario Balaq, nice enough youngster who still needs to fill out to complete the picture. The weather played havoc on his movement as he struggled moving but when he settled he used his front extension to advantage, but up & back he is still loose in front. Good head & expression, well set & held ears, good neck & topline with a nice cut up & a well set & carried tail, good body proportions when he settled, alone here but would like to see him in a bigger class. PGD (0). LD (1) 1 Ferguson’s Felfree Rocket, quality dog with a good eye of a excellent shape, head slightly wide across which sometimes makes the ears lay at the wrong angle giving a slightly different expression but he has an excellent neck & shoulders, lovely bone & feet, good topline & tailset which was carried well, lovely rib & tuck-up & good hindquarters, excellent profile movement with a good front extension & nice head carriage, good markings. OD (6,1a) 1 Knight’s Westbank Blue Diamond for Talanors, well balanced mature dog of quality & an excellent type & size, well made all through & very masculine in outline, balanced mature head with a good eye of size & shape, well set & carried ears, good neck & shoulders, strong topline & well set & carried tail, well boned legs & feet & a good ribcage, excellent profile movement with a good stride & holding his topline too. CC & BOB; 2 Charlton’s Ch Digelsa Diaond Geeza at Lizelms, an old favourite of mine who was looking a picture today, elegant dog who unfortunately did not move as well as I have seen him do in the past. Masculine head & expression on this quality type of dog, excellent neck & shoulders & a good ribcage & tuck-up, strong topline with a well set tail which he sometimes carries a bit too high for perfection. RCC; 3 Renshaw & Robinson’s Talanors Smart Treat withh Westbank. PB (4) 1 Wicker’s Mimbre Bombette, well made mature puppy of a nice type, very well grown for 9 months, very feminine in outlook with a pretty head & expression, well set & carried ears, lovely neck & shoulders, front moving away & back needs to settle as she is still loose but excellent profile movement, good body proportions with a good topline & tailset, both held on the move & set up. BP; 2 Scanlan’s Digelsa Dixie Chick, 11 months old bitch who needs to mature to reach her potential, still needs to body up to balance, lovely head & expression with a good eye & well set & carried ears, good neck & shoulders leading into a strong topline & well set tail, good ribcage & tuck-up. Moved as a baby should but showing lots of promise & looks good in profile; 3 Peacham’s Felfree A Touch Of Glam. JB (3) 1 Symington’s Talanors Secret Treat, very taken with this young lady now I can see her breeding, I can see why, she is by the DCC & has that same quality, excellent head & expression, good neck & shoulders, lovely well boned legs & feet, she is very balanced set up & moving she comes into her own with her free front movement & strong hindquarters, good loin & ribcage, showed well to win here; 2 Fletcher & Butler’s Joemario Just A Dash, still needs to finish & today I think the wind was upsetting her for she was roached & not so happy on the move, she does give good front extension & is of a good size, pretty head & expression with a lovely eye of a good colour & shape, good markings, age will finish her into a good Manchester; 3 Urry’s Maskred Missandei Galare. PGB (2,1w/d) 1 Thurlow’s Erkenwyne Lady Guinevere, alone but could do well in company for she is of a good size with good body proportions, nice head & expression, good eye & well set & carried ears, held her topline both set up & moving, good depth of chest with a nice tuck-up, good markings. LB (3) 1 Walshaw’s Digelsa Diva avec Janmark, feminine young bitch of quality with a balanced outline, beautiful head & expression, well bodied but just needs a few more months to finish & become a cracking Manchester, she has everything going for her, excellent neck & shoulders, good topline & tailset, good ribcage with the correct tuck-up, well muscled hindquarters, very true coming & going & excellent profile movement with good front extension, you just cannot ignore her quality & will continue to follow her progress. No hesitation in giving her the class & an honour to award her the CC; 2 Knight’s Ch Talanos Taylor Made Treat, slightly smaller bitch but no mistaking her sex & still a quality bitch who deserves her title, good body proportions, feminine head & expression, well set & carried ears, good ribcage & topline & tailset, good movement particularly in profile, showed well here; 3 Greenslade’s Calastoa’s Material Girl.
