Manchester Terriers

JD (2)

1 Walshaw’s Talanors Diamonds ‘n’ Dreams avec Janmark, 6 months but a very exciting prospect, loved his size, balance & general shape (though with maturity he should become a little more defined in topline), quality head with wicked eye, neat well carried ears and elegantly crested neck. Sufficient bone, moderate angles throughout, well bodied & clean lined. Well marked, moves well behind, goes around with style, just needs to tighten a little in front. Sufficient promise to warrant the RCC & BP;

2 Lewis’ Rattustrap Red Admiral, 13 months, bigger framed dog but he has a lot of type & looked good on the stack. Clean, quality head but a little lighter in eye than 1. Well marked, nicely bodied, on the go-around topline tends to run up & he throws his front about. Like 1 in beautiful condition.

LD (2)

1 Harrison’s Magpiebank Ash, upstanding yearling dog of quality & in fantastic condition. Good head type, well placed ears, mid brown eye, reasonably well marked, just enough neck, nicely ribbed, well defined topline, moves better than most up & down & has a certain style, won his first CC with some to spare & later BOB. Should make up easily;

2 Olbinson & Kelly’s Paucelin Andoni at Carapest, smaller but well balanced, quality head but could have a little more fill under the eyes. Nicely marked, well proportioned outline but less defined topline than 1 & not as steady on the move.

OD (2)

1 Knight’s Ch Westbank Blue Diamond for Talanors, medium size, good basic type, balanced head with small ears & wicked eye. A little loaded in shoulder, heavily marked, nicely bodied, could have little more definition of topline, well let down rear, moved reasonably behind but could be cleaner in front. Obviously a useful dog to the breed as he sired the BCC & RDCC winners;

2 Dunford, Akrigg & Walton’s Ch/Dutch Ch Quixol Alexander, bigger framed dog, a little lighter in eye but very well bodied & muscled. Nicely defined outline, could move more soundly behind. Quite well marked.

JB (1)

1 Sharpe’s Rosettiaa High Hopes, 6 months & very unhappy on the table so she needs lots of practice. Quality head, feminine & full of expression, lovely size & basic balance just needs a little more definition of topline. Rather heavily marked. Movement a little erratic.

PGB (2)

1 Symington’s Talanors Secret Treat, excellent size & with a look of quality, good basic head type but ears could be more settled & eye a shade darker, quite well marked, typical top & underline, well conditioned, moves smartly but could be a little truer in front. Overall size, shape & type took her through to her first CC;

2 Sharpe’s Rosettia Ruby Reflection, a little stuffier over the shoulder, but essentially decent type though she is even lighter in eye. Well marked, shown well by her young handler but again movement could be cleaner.

LB (4)

1 Dunford & Akrigg’s Quixol Soiree, pleasing size & shape, feminine head with plenty of strength but ears could be more settled. Nicely marked, clean flowing lines, could move more cleanly in front;

2 R Ruby Reflection;

3 Harrison’s Sophyla Sophie.

OB (4)

1 Oxley’s Ch Digelsa De Ja Vu, plenty of her but very well balanced & essentially typical all through. Good head type but a little light in eye, nicely marked, elegant neck, firmly bodied & coat in lovely condition. Moved smartly but throws her elbows coming on. In beautiful condition. RCC;

2 Walshaw’s Digelsa Diva avec Janmark, smaller framed bitch, very feminine, not the strength of foreface of 1, less defined in topline & coat was a little thin. Holds herself well on the move;

3 Dunford & Akrigg’s Ch Paucelin Armana by Quixol.
