MANCHESTER WINDSOR 10 Judge: Miss F Freer MANCHESTER JUDGE WINDSOR 10 Manchester Terriers We are blessed with good handlers in Manchesters & I couldn’t fault anyone on the presentation of the dogs or themselves. PD (0). JD (1) 1 Arundel & Brown’s Browdel Potters Pickle Messrs, nice outline & strong markings, thumbprints clear & defined, head OK. Ears could have been used better, lost out on BD on movement. RBD. PGD (0). LD (2,1a) 1 Beardow’s Talanors Hellova Treat for Sipowitz, a dog I have admired from a real youngster, presented with good shining coat & well turned out, strong head & expression with dark eye, ears set high, outline OK. Slightly lost on occasions when standing. Moved out well & true, nicely handled. BD. OD (0). V (2) 1 O’Neill’s Alvediston Eclipse at Megellan, well where do I start with this lovely bitch, at 12 years she is a true credit to the breed, I last judged her when she was 7 & although aged slightly more than when I last judged her still has not lost any of her charm, quality or showmanship, head still strong, yet feminine, teeth were in excellent condition for her age, moved like a dream with nothing to hide, still can’t believe this bitch never gained her title, credit to the owner this lovely bitch is still going strong, A real pleasure to judge & award. RBB; 2 De Lavis-Trafford’s Ch Tyburn Faedra, a younger bitch than 1, head OK. Ears were not being used. Nice arch of neck & good length of body, moved well, particularly in front. Preferred size & showmanship of 1. PB (3,1) 1 Saxton & Dale’s Egloshayle Sea Sprite of Rattustrap, 7 months bitch who I have admired from the ringside & was not disappointed when judged, a very flashy & classy young lady who’s handler knew exactly how to get the best out of her, head well proportioned, marked & ears well set, lovely straight front & arch of neck, topline superb & enough arch over loin. Movement could be slightly loose in front but forgave for being a baby. One definitely to watch out for. BOB; 2 Evans’ Coombelane New Beginning, 10 months bitch who unfortunately was not as confident as 1. Stood beautifully showing good outline, lovely head & eye, ears well set. Unfortunately let herself down on the move, but with a bit more experience & time will make the world of difference. JB (1) 1 Carter’s Mansiya Liccan Moon over Afilador, a well put together bitch who let herself down on the move by pacing, showed well otherwise & looked good in profile, strong head with defined markings, ears well set however one was slightly lazy on occasions. PGB (1) 1 Smith’s Mansiya Midnight Graceful, liked this bitches size & outline, strong defined markings & thumbprints, head OK. Would have liked higher earset. Good shining coat. LB (4) 1 O’Neill’s Megallan Thunder Bird, lovely feminine head on this bitch, super small ears & dark eye, beautiful outline & correct depth of chest, a lot to like about this bitch however let herself down on hind movement; 2 Braybrook’s Tudorbrook My Ventures, preferred head & earset on 1. Still a lot to like about this bitch, lovely outline & good arch over loin, moved OK. OB (3) 1 Arundel & Brown’s Browdel Beatrix Potter, nice bitch carried herself well, in good coat, pleasing head & expression. A little wide in front. Preferred overall turn out of 1; 2 O’Neill Mimbre Minx to Megellan, feminine head, ears well set & good when used, good shiny coat & in good condition. Thumbprints & markings not as good as 1.
