MANCHESTER WINDSOR 25 Judge: Mrs L Hewson I was delighted with the quality of the dogs, all of which were a lovely black and tan with the correct breed markings. V (2:1) 1. Knight’s Ch Talanors Typically Special. I’ve long been an admirer of this lovely, well balanced 8 year old bitch. Moderate sized, good angulation front and rear with correct bend of stifle. Well made front, showing forechest. Deep, well sprung ribs, good top line with slight rise over the loin. Correctly set tail. Pretty feminine head with depth to muzzle, dark sparkling eyes and lovely ear carriage. Moved steadily. Appears she is recovering her figure! JD (2) 1. Bailey & Hancock’s Rattustrap Crimes at Night. Good silhouette. Masculine head, with dark eyes. Good length of neck to well-made front, straight forelegs and good forechest. Deep rib acceptable underline. Strong top line. Well constructed quarters. 2. Lomas’ Axaldarn Viking Wolf. Compact outline. Wedge shaped head, well shaped dark eyes. Long neck to well angled front with sloping shoulders. Good top line and tuck up, Strong loin, well made quarters. Preferred the outline of the winner. PGD (2) 1. Haylor’s Isari King of Hearts. 2 years old. Lovely masculine head with strength to foreface. Dark eyes and keen expression. Lovely outline with good forechest. Well-made front with forelegs set well under the top of his shoulder. Deep ribbing. Correct top and neat underline. Correctly constructed quarters with good bend to stifle. Well set tail. Shown in good body condition. Moved well but, occasionally, had a tendency to pace. Nevertheless, plenty of qualities to merit the RCC. 2. Rattustrap Crimes at Night. OD (2) 1. Knight’s Ch. Slightly smaller stamp of dog of similar type to 1. Good head with strength to muzzle. Dark eyes and lovely expression. Well set ears. Good length to neck and depth of ribbing.
