A tremendous entry. I was concerned by the overall size of some of the exhibits, particularly in the early dog classes. Dentition has improved, only a few misplaced teeth & occasional dental treatment on view. Temperament was first class & must be cherished & closely guarded.

1 Dewar’s Euphemia Drummer Boy, dark brindle, very eyecatching, lovely head shape & expression, level topline, compact body, moved well, one to watch, well handled;

2 Brown’s Aldermarbull’s Time To Shine, r/w compact body shape. Less mature than 1 but promising;

3 Brown’s Kiamirose Neopoleon Solo.

1 Stanway’s Waystaff Strikes Back, w/pied, beautiful head shape, dark eye, rose ears & lovely expression, straight front, legs well boned, compact body with level topline, pleasing hindquarters for age with well bent stifles, moved & handled very well, should have a very bright future. BP;

2 Dowse’s Rotherstaff Black Tie, dark brindle, very nice puppy, pleasing head, dark eye & neat ears, straight front. Handler tended to stretch him out at the back, making him look long, which he isn’t. Moved well;

3 Lawrenson’s Crossguns Tom Jones.

JD (13,2) Some too big & had to pay the penalty.

1 Small’s Merimna Mind Your Own, dark brindle, good head, dark eye, straight clean front, compact, body, well boned legs, moved well;

2 Wheeler’s Denagar Lord Achilles, brindle, well shaped head, good stop & ear carriage, level topline, correct quarters, moved & handled well. Preferred expression of 1;

3 Lawrensen’s Crossgun Tom Jone.

2 Funnell’s Veklorra Barney Rebel at Powerpack, dark brindle, good head shape, pleasing expression. Ears need to settle, showed well;

3 Perry’s Mishdar I’m Still Waiting at Foxstaff.

3 Waltham’s Dringshaw Valentino.

1 De Coverley’s Aust/Gr Ch Koendida Umrum, white, excellent head & expression, dark eye, broad skull, deep through, well pronounced cheek muscles, distinct stop, strength in muzzle, clean straight front, close coupled body with depth in brisket & well sprung ribs, muscular hindquarters, in fit hard condition, moved freely with power & drive, shown & handled well. CC, BOB & G4. An excellent ambassador for the breed;

2 Wray & Hedges’ Leger Carrion Showing, dark brindle, beautiful head & expression, clean straight front, well ribbed compact body, level topline, muscular hindquarters, moved freely. Unlucky to meet 1 in such great form. RCC;

3 Smith’s Ch Pennsmith Billy Boy.

2 Funnell’s Kewaunee Pocahontas for Powerpack, dark brindle, very pleasing puppy, close decision;

3 Turner’s Trawen Snowball.

2 Smart & Pritchard’s Arnhem Twice As Nice, r/w, very classy bitch, ticks all the boxes, excels in head & expression, legs & feet of the best, well muscled body, moved freely, very difficult decision. The finished more mature picture presented by 1 stole the day. RCC
