Judge: Mrs E P Hollings
PD 1 (a) JD (0). PGD (1) 1 Ross’ Cedar Of The Manor, confident, pleasing outline with correct arch over loin, good tuck-up & well proportioned length of body, well rounded, narrow skull, dark, well set eye, good filling beneath, excellent bite with big white teeth, well padded feet, moved tidily, correct linty coat. OD (4) 1 Davies’ Honeymist Miles High, good quality, liked him for size, very typical in head with rounded narrow skull, excellent silky topknot, small dark eye with spirited expression, tidy front, firm well arched loin, correct bone for balance, long well padded feet, light & springy action displaying confidence & sound temperament, thick linty coat, expertly presented. BOB; 2 Caines’ Burmington And Me Too, smart chap, good neck into decent front, typical horseshoe shape when viewed front, well placed low set ear, thin, velvety with correct fringe, flat ribbed, chest deep, good in outline. Just not the coat or impulsion on the move of 1 but a lovely dog who deserved RBD; 3 Davies’ Honeymist Sunny.
PB (2 1a) 1 Lacey’s Bowling’s Brook My Blue Heaven, 6 months charming young lady with many attributes, feminine head, close fitting lips over well placed big white teeth, deep set dark eye, natural horseshoe front. Liked her proportions throughout. A little green on the move but lots of potential. BP. JB (1) 1 Ross’ Honeymist Gaviota, lovely type, feminine but not weedy, beautiful balance & shape throughout, head of correct proportions, gentle expression from dark deep set eye, low set ear, long clean neck fitting well into her shoulders, flexible well shaped body, lithe, easy mover. PGB (5 1a) 1 Yearley’s Lowbrook Lookin For Trouble, beautifully presented bitch, good eye, flat ribs with good depth, thick linty coat, best mover in the class; 2 Hyde’s Gnejnabay Zena of Bugibba, decent head shape, would like slightly more strength in lower jaw. Very typy in outline, pleasing front. Just not performing or concentrating on the move as well as 1 or could have been a different story; 3 Thompson’s Jetsway Absolut Blue. OB (4) 1 Davies’ Honeymist Tease N Freeze, very appealing young bitch who performed on the move as good as she looks standing, excellent presentation, her thick linty coat was of correct texture & in full bloom, very smart to go over, excellent confident attitude, presented to advantage. BB; 2 Hyde’s Gnejnabay Madam Dominica, just not concentrating on the move so not giving the complete picture of 1 but a very satisfying bitch of type & conformation, correct shape of head, with narrow rounded skull & good topknot, excellent jaw with big well placed teeth & close fitting lips. RBB; 3 Davies’ Ch Honeymist Time Will Tell.
