PD

1 Allen’s Travella Special Feature, most promising, picture marked, quality dog, beautiful head & expression, long neck, good shoulders, short well coupled body, good set-on, moved soundly. When matures will do very well. BP;

2 Chad’s Barbiwire Conquest at Parkside, well ribbed & bodied puppy who does not need to grow any more. Decent head & expression, in good coat & condition, moved steadily.

JD

1 Free & Moake’s Blackdale Invader, very well presented in excellent coat & condition, lovely head & expression, short compact well ribbed body, good set-on. Perhaps carrying a little too much weight. Steady mover;

2 Bradford’s Flyntwyre Fire At Will, heavily marked ginger/w, beautiful head & expression, correct make & shape which will improve with more body weight & longer coat. Made it difficult for his handler throughout.

PGD

1 Anderson’s Denidale Revival, quality dog, good head & expression, make & shape, ideal size, sound mover, in good show trim & condition;

2 Booton’s Boowire Tudor Minstrel, well balanced, of correct size, make & shape, in good condition & body weight, well presented & handled, moved soundly when he eventually settled;

3 Pearce’s Alkinra Yes Sir.

LD

1 De Munter Viterwijk’s Eleazar van Folinghome, quality hound marked dog in excellent show condition, beautiful head & expression, long neck, level topline, correct tailset, moved well. RCC;

2 Van Weersch’s Fairplay Van Foliny Home, quality dog of similar type to 1. Beautiful head & expression, long neck, level topline, good mover. Both these dogs are up to size but are decent dogs & will do well;

3 Stott’s Ghyllmoire Makers Mark.

OD

1 Bradley’s Aman The Duke, lovely dog whose only detraction is his markings. Heavily marked but I was taught ‘you can never have a bad coloured champion racehorse’ & the same applies here. Beautiful head & expression, good neck & shoulders, well ribbed body with tail on top, very sound mover, ideal size. CC his crown;

2 Schoneberg’s Dk Ch Wilson v d Schonenbergen, very well presented dog, in excellent coat & condition, beautiful head & expression, well balanced throughout & moved soundly. I thought 1 was more compact;

3 Bradbury & Jacklin’s Davwen Billy Bach. V 1 Anderson’s Proveits Billy No Mates, dog of correct size, make & shape, lovely head & expression, in good coat & body weight, moved well.

PB

1 Pearce’s Alkina Double Dare, very pretty hound marked puppy, lovely head & expression, short coupled body, steady mover;

2 Benge’s Proveits Peggy Sue at Romtyke, lightly marked very young puppy, correct make & shape, moved steadily when settled. Really needs a new coat which seems to be a few weeks away;

3 Brown’s Barbiwire Pussy Galore.

JB

1 Pearce’s Alkinra Big Tease, lovely head & expression, good make & shape, moved steadily, really good coat. Needs time;

2 Benge’s Merry Go Round at Romtyke, correct size & type, in good order. Could do with more coat which would help her. Made her handler work hard but eventually settled & showed well enough.

PGB

1 Anderson’s Proveits Tickerty Boo, basically all white with tan head, lovely size, well ribbed body, tail on top, moved well, good coat;

2 Pearce’s Alkinra Yours Truely, richly hound marked bitch of quality, beautiful head & expression. Needs to body & settle. I noticed she was a full sister to Yes Sir. These are two very promising Fox Terriers & if the proper time, training, conditioning & effort, which is needed to take any terrier to the top, are put into them, will do well;

3 Parott’s Wylyefox Surprise Packet.

LB

Two top quality bitches with little to choose between them.

1 Allen’s Travella Special Intent, almost all white with some tan markings, lovely head & expression, good neck & shoulders, short coupled body, tail on top, moved soundly, well presented & shown. RCC;

2 Howe’s Valken Violetta, lovely headed bitch, long neck giving an extreme outline, good legs & feet, moved soundly, well presented. A size bigger, I thought, than my winner. She is still feminine & very attractive. I preferred size & overall balance of the Travella bitch;

3 Anderson’s Denidale Surprise Package.

OB

1 Goodsell’s Ch Blackdale Carousel, superb example of the breed, what a picture she is, when viewed from any angle. The most exquisite head & expression, long neck flowing into a short level well ribbed body with good tailset, moved soundly, in spectacular condition. I could say I have never seen her looking better. However, I feel she always looks the same. I honestly believe she is one of the all time greats. CC & BOB;

2 Calonaci & Marchetti’s Sweet Dream at Northwires, well presented hound marked bitch of correct make & shape, lovely head & expression, moved & showed soundly.
