DCC CH LOUIEVILLE RED PRINCE (MRS W JOHNSTON) PD (4,3a) 1 Kenyon’s Wyndam Blackjack, sound dog, well presented, strong head, good eyes, ears & shoulders, level back, tail on top. Needs to settle on the move. JD (1) 1 Averis’ Saredon Flashback, pleasing head, ears, neck & front, level top, good tailset, moved & presented well. LD (1) 1 Connell & Callon’s Sonorra Spellcaster, well made young dog with all the essentials, moved well. RCC. OD (4) 1 Johnston’s Ch Louieville Red Prince, nothing much to say about this dog which has not already been said & one I have admired from when I first saw him as a puppy. Rear movement was not as good in the breed ring with the longer grass, but his movement in the group ring was near perfect. CC, BOB & G4; 2 Maughan’s Brocolitia Keep It A Secret, played up a little on the table but did enough to gain his placing; 3 Bower’s Rafingham Box Of Tricks at Lakeridge. PB (5,3) 1 Clark, Vickers & Punter’s Eskwyre A Fine Romance, compact feminine bitch who enjoyed herself & coped well with the conditions. BP; 2 Anderson’s Corrievackie Opal, a baby at just 6 months who was not over-faced. Will improve with time. JB (2) 1 Averis’ Saredon For Your Eyes Only, promising young bitch full of quality which I have come to expect from this kennel; 2 Peart’s Kilvermin Kassie, not as well presented as 1 but moved OK. LB (2,1) 1 Graham’s Stanstead Take A Chance On Me, was very impressed with this black bitch, strong head, correct ears, good shoulders giving long sloping neck & level back, tail on top & carried forward, very harsh jacket, coped with the ground & moved well with the quite long grass in the ring. Should go all the way. RCC. OB (5,1) 1 Davini’s Saredon Unreachable Star at Arkama, well presented, compact & balanced, good head, eyes & expression, harsh jacket, well muscled in first & second thigh, moved well & enjoyed herself. CC; 2 Connell & Mason’s Rafingham Pure Magic, one I have admired in the past but was not putting it all together; 3 McCallum’s Glentop Bidin My Time.
