1 Matti & Omitogun’s Louieville Red King in Frontline, lovely head & layback of shoulder, correct Lakeland ears giving correct expression, good tailset, pin wire coat, moved very well, right amount of bone, good mouth, big teeth. Needs to grow on a bit; 2 Manser & English’s Nujax My Way, ears set a bit high spoiling the expression. Movement erratic. Tail bang on top, good reach of neck, in profile was balanced; 3 Walker’s Oregill Benjamin. JD (0). PGD (2) 1 De Munter, Uiterwijk & Averis’ Fireflame Van Foliny Home, correct ear placement, excellent head, good shoulders, tail bang on top, excellent coat in first class trim. A lesson to others on how one should move. Top class handling. RCC. LD (0). OD (2) 1 Johnston’s Ch Louieville Red Prince, what can be said about this dog that has not already been said? A very good Lakeland, so compact, in wonderful bloom, pin wire coat, top class reach of neck, good shoulders, lovely head, nice round bone, went round the ring like he was the boss, very good handling. CC, BOB & G1; 2 Watkins’ Ebrooks Hickori at Zaraslake, bit of a handful. Good neck & shoulders & tailset, typical Lakeland head & expression, nice dog. V (1) 1 Boyd & Locke’s Rimsand Rural Rubix, 8 years bitch, in pet trim, enjoying herself, good mover, typical head & ears, nice bone, good mouth. PB (2) 1 Barratt, Walker & Averis’ Saredon Curtain Call, in good condition, pin wire coat, lovely neck & shoulders, good head, good ear placement, went round the ring very well when she was on all four feet. Hope she has stopped growing. Correct expression. BP; 2 Thorburn’s Louieville Miss Victoria, wants to grow on a bit. Nice head & ears, lovely shoulders, moved very well for her tender age. JB (1) 1 McCallum’s Glentops Bubble And Squeak, would like to see less furnishings, far too much. Not the shoulders I like. Good harsh coat. Head could be trimmed to better advantage. Moved very well. PGB (5) 1 De Munter, Uiterwijk & Averis’ Firewitch Van Foliny Home, short back, good head, excellent set on, first class shoulders, good mouth, top class expression, put down as one expects from this talented handler. RCC; 2 Ashe’s Ebrooks Ruby, lovely bitch, nice size. Maybe another couple of months will see her bloom as she has everything there to do so. In first class trim, good head, ears, shoulders & neck; 3 Gould’s Sonorra Bright Spark. LB (3) 1 Harrison’s Saredon Show Girl at Anfranjo, good tail carriage, pin wire coat, good typical Lakeland head, nice reach of neck, moved OK; 2 Isaac’s Selab Delilah My My, taller than 1, good coat, well placed ears, moved well with handler; 3 Boyd & Locke’s Little Miss Muffet. OB (3) 1 Beerten-Delarbre’s Lux Scafell Pike’s Eyeshadow, up to size but what a dream to go over. The best of necks & shoulders, good set on, lovely head & ears, held topline all the time, very well presented & handled. CC; 2 Davani’s Saredon Unreachable Star at Arkama, not the size of 1 but very nice type. Showed her socks off, good head & ears, lovely reach of neck, tail on top, well handled. Felt like she had been rolling in sand; 3 McCallum’s Glentops Bidin’ My Time.
