The weather was against us & we were back under the tent. However, the ring, although small, was not muddy like some. We did have the company of a large pole in the middle of the ring but the dogs thought it was great.

MPD (2)

1 Gill’s CloonbegganeOne Whizz Kid, well up to size for age, good head, correct shoulders & level topline, movement good but took a while to settle;

2 Milner’s Juanne The Latch Key Kid, slightly smaller than 1. Lovely dark eye & pigment, level topline & good angulation, tail on top but tends to lower it when on the move.

PD (3,1a)

1 Gaydon’s Gilbri Williwontie, very mature puppy for his age, strong head with a short broad muzzle, correct shoulders, short coupled with a level topline & tail on top, moved well;

2 Kabel’s Llovall Ain’t Misbehavin Mr, good head, dark eye & good pigment, nice reach of neck, level topline & well presented. Unfortunately he wasn’t very happy in the ring & couldn’t quite get himself together when on the move.

JD (2)

1 Minett’s Candido Du Mulin de MacGregor, broad head with neat ears & dark eye, well set on, good layback of shoulder, kept level topline on the move, good harsh coat, well presented;

2 Britten’s Krisma Spitnpolish, not quite as mature as 1 but lovely to go over, beautiful harsh white coat & excellent presentation, just needs to settle a bit on the move.

PGD (10,1)

1 Thomson’s Ashgate US Patriot, correct size, broad skull, small correctly placed ears & dark eye, good reach of neck into well laid back shoulders, short coupled & good rear angulation, moved well. RCC;

2 Dunne’s Charosmack Cool Spook, very similar to 1 but just needs time to mature. Would have liked a bit more body. Lovely head & short back, looked good on the move & beautifully presented;

3 Hill & Wilson’s Olton Aye Sweater Boy.

LD (3,1)

1 Gill’s Cloonbeggan Whoz That Guy, very spirited dog, well up to size, lovely head, deep set eye & correct bite, well laid back shoulders, short coupled & well muscled;

2 Sweetzer’s Ambalasi Firefly, larger than 1 but well balanced, moved well.

OD (3,1)

1 Dunne & Crockett’s Havasu Pai, this dog said it all for me, broad skull, deep set dark eyes, broad, short muzzle with large teeth making a correct bite, great expression, good reach of neck & well laid back shoulders, deep chest & correct width between front legs to allow him to stand correctly at the front, short back & level topline with short coupling, good angulation & well muscled hind, stands correctly naturally & doesn’t need pushing together, tail on top & plenty behind the tail, moved with drive & showed off his harsh white coat which was presented to perfection. CC & BOB;

2 Abbey’s Kristajen Know It All, slightly longer cast than 1. Good head & lovely big teeth, correct shoulders & good movement.

MPB (5,2)

1 Shaw’s Matheron With Attitude, 7 months old & a real baby but lovely to go over, very feminine head & expression, good shoulders. Just a little long in body at the moment but I’m sure age will alter that. Lovely free movement, harsh white coat. BP;

2 Macbean’s Pryorvale Dutch Courage, slightly younger than 1 but a bit more mature, good head, nice reach of neck, well laid shoulders, lovely harsh white coat but preferred the movement of 1;

3 Lancaster’s Clanestar Careless Affair.

PB (5)

1 Britten’s Krisma Spicknspan, very feminine expression, correct head & a good mouth, good layback of shoulder & short back with tail on top, well angulated & with good hocks, I liked her size & she moved well;

2 Gaydon’s Gilbri Charisma, a little taller than 1 but well balanced, good strong head but feminine, lovely expression, good layback & level topline but would have liked a little more coat on her body;

3 Elliott’s Cassie Of Rose Garden.

JB (8,2)

1 Davison’s Benstedmanna Miellefieule at Braxquin, neat coby little girl, good head & correct mouth, level topline but coat so short lack of run in is making her look longer than she is. Good angulation & moved well;

2 Hughes’ Brychdyn Kite Mark, coby little girl with a good head & correct mouth, correct shoulders & good angulation. Preferred her coat to that of 1 but on the move she just didn’t have her usual sparkle;

3 Sweetzer Ambalasi Full Of Ambition.

PGB (8,1)

1 Morton’s Charosmack Crystal Secret at Swifdon, liked the outline of this bitch, lovely head, neat ears, dark eye & very feminine expression, good layback & level topline, good angulation & moved well. Just a little heavy for my liking but it didn’t detract from her overall qualities;

2 Hooper’s Yorsar Fivepenny Borg, slightly larger than 1, pleasing to go over & moved well. Would have liked a bit darker pigment;

3 Windram’s Cassara Princess.

LB (10,3)

1 Thomson’s Ashgate Ardlussa, well balanced bitch, good head, well defined stop, dark eyes & good pigment, good reach of neck & layback, level topline with short coupling, good bend of stifle, moved well, correct harsh coat, well presented. RCC;

2 Gaydon’s Wistonant Royal Ruby at Gilbri, slightly taller than 1 but a well balanced, liked her feminine expression, good reach of neck & correct layback, keeps her level topline when on the move & always keeps her tail up. She doesn’t have to be pushed together when stacked. Plenty behind her tail which looks good when moving away;

3 Griffiths’ Karamynd Take A Bow.

OB (9,3)

1 Lancaster’s Clanestar Careless Spell, it was a pleasure to go over this bitch, lovely head, correct ear placement, dark deep set eyes & a typical Westie expression, correct length of neck, the straightest of fronts & good shoulders, short coupled & with a level topline she kept her tail on top, good bend of stifle & correct hocks made for good movement with plenty of drive, harsh white coat, well presented, finished the picture & she certainly deserved her CC;

2 Gill’s Cloonbeggane The One And Only, lovely bitch, really liked her expression & great movement. Did consider her for RCC but she was carrying a little too much weight for me & it was making her look heavy in shoulder;

3 Abbey’s Kristajen Know Whats What.
