There were some very nice Westies being shown & competition was keen. I was surprised to find a number with incorrect bites & some very tiny teeth & a number with teeth that need cleaning.

1 Squire’s Kimgarwyn Outlaw, short coupled youngster, the best front in the class, nicely laid shoulder, moved & showed well, nicely balanced head, strong jaw;

2 Gaydon’s Gilbri Williwontie, very good quarters & good bone, nicely shaped head, moved OK:

3 Barton’s Emanhay Bob S Krachett at Ryebeck.

PD (2)

1 Smith’s Royalcarteir Entertainer, short coupled, very good quarters, moves with drive, well shaped masculine head, keen expression, presented well. BP:

2 Carlin & Gillott’s Lizandycris Pick Of The Pack, needs a little more body. Good head & ears well placed. Movement behind could be stronger. Good front.

1 Dale’s Lynnsto Mastercard, lovely strong bone & very good feet, rib goes well back & good quarters, masculine head, good big teeth, moved best in class;

2 Corri’s Inverglen Banjo, very good head, short coupled, good bone & very good front. Needs to settle;

3 Minett’s Candido Du Moulin de MacGregor.

ND (2)

1 Zdyrko’s Westigo Accord, had the best head in class, short coupled, nicely presented. Needs to strengthen in movement;

2 Davies’ Lymehills Diamond Cut at Honeymist, lacked strength in head & quarters could be stronger. Straight front, good double coat.

PGD (4)

1 Macbean’s Bellevue Going Dutch with Pryorvale, well presented, strong double coat, true masculine head, good eye & expression, rib well back & deep, moved OK;

2 Foster’s Thozow Good Etiquette, nicely constructed, short coupled. Not quite free movement of 1. Good head & eye, good pigment;

3 Thomson’s Ashgate Us Patriot.

LD (9)

1 Griffiths’ Karamynd Play The Game, has to be handled to appreciate his lovely bone, beautiful feet, good strong quarters & lovely straight front, in excellent coat & presentation, lovely head. Needs to settle but is a sound mover. RCC;

2 Purchon’s Lindenka Bennington, ran winner close. Just preferred the more masculine head. Beautifully constructed & moves well;

3 Corri’s Inverglen Lewis.

1 Dunne’s Havasu Pai, beautifully constructed, masculine head, movement excellent, plenty of drive, presented in excellent condition, good double coat. CC & BOB:

2 Jennings’ Ch Comdale Action Man, quality head, good eye, moved OK, good level topline. I thought he was carrying enough weight;

3 Dale’s Lynnsto Pellam.

VD (1)

1 Summerton’s Tidarigit Acer One, 9½ years, moved & showed well, very good body, enjoying his day out.

1 Purchon’s Lindenka Clancy, lovely baby & shows great promise, lovely feminine head, super front, well tucked in elbows, shall watch with interest;

2 Gaydon’s Gilbri Charisma, free moving youngster, neat head, level topline, nicely presented;

3 Hayton’s Pedrohay Silver Rosebud.

1 Jennings’ Wistonant Anastia of Comdale, lovely youngster, nicely constructed, super front, short coupled, level topline, in good double coat, moved well;

2( No name given), nice pup, lovely head, short coupled. Not the drive behind of 1.

1 Carlin & Gillott’s Bocharo Miss Tique at Lizandycris, very good young bitch, very good body, lovely feminine head, well placed ears, elbows well tucked in, moved nicely;

2 Dale’s Lynnsto Ultraviolet, nice bitch, well constructed, nicely boned. Hind movement could be more positive;

3 Sweetzer’s Ambalasi Full Of Ambition.

1 Griffiths’ Karamynd Take A Bow, beautifully constructed, gorgeous head & eye, in hard condition, lovely mover. To me the one the judge would like to take home, must have a good future with any luck. RCC;

2 Ash’s Olton Aye Precious Pearl at Hillcloud, nicely constructed bitch. Not in hard condition of 1 or coat condition;

3 Jones’ Fernlair I Was Framed.

1 Corri’s Inverglen Sula, beautifully constructed mature bitch, in lovely hard condition, coat in super form, moved & showed beautifully, loved her head, eye & expression, lovely big teeth. CC;

2 Gaydon’s Wistonant Royal Ruby at Gilbri, nice bitch, nice construction, lovely head, moved & showed well;

3 Thomson’s Ashgate Ardlussa.

OB (5,1)

1 Steemson’s Bocans Skies The Limit, nicely balanced, very good body, good strong quarters, good coat, moved OK;

2 Cooper’s Ashgate Camellia, short coupled, good bone, level topline, good head. Not the drive behind of 1;

3 Abbey’s Kristajan Know Whats What.

1 Barton’s Ryebeckwillow The Wisp, 10½ years, in nice condition, moved well. BV.
