Bull Terrier (Miniature) Judge: Mr R Wright
YD (1) 1 Hearne, Singleton & Paterson’s Warbonnet Galetia, high quality dog of power & substance, understandably a shade oversize being a 2nd generation inter, good head, ear, eye, bite & teeth, well bodied with good rib, excellent muscletone all through, sound & showing well in typical fashion. BD. OD (2) 1 Presland & Vincent’s Ch/Ir Ch Badlesmere Brabazon in Kofyn, white of good type & quality, good head & all properties, bite & teeth, clean & strong in forehand, good ribbing, excellent toning to quarters. A little too well filled in body which, though sound, made him sluggish & lacking that typical air. RBD; 2 Vickers’ Duvessa Red Cloud, close up red of excellent type, quality, balance & size, well headed, excellent forehand, short & strong with good ribs & well defined quarters. Would have pushed winners hard but for overlong nails which put him slightly down on pastern & affected movement. YB (1) 1 Cox’s Duvessa Red River, cracking sort of type, quality, balance & size, best of heads, excellent forehand, well ribbed, short with good quarters, excellent condition, well handled, sound with typical jaunty fluency. BOB. OB (3,2) 1 Presland & Vincent’s Ir Ch Kofyn Karbon Footprint, dark br/w, decent sort, OK in skull. Lacks depth/strength in underjaw. Good front, excellent muscling, well bodied, sound though hind action a little erratic. RBB.
