Also their hospitality, which made my day a very enjoyable one. Thanks also go to the exhibitors, for such a great entry, and the wonderful atmosphere, along with a well supported ringside. As we all know minis vary so much in size and a great deal of hype appears to be based on this. My overall view from today was not of size, but of the lack of expression due to the incorrect shape of the eyes! Where has the small deep set triangular shape eye gone? Which is unique in the breed. There are far too many big round bold eye`s appearing in the breed, which totally ruins the expression! So let`s not forget to think of the breed as a whole package and not be to fixated on height alone. PD. 2 1st Mr Mrs D, E & Miss V Clarks. Grandopera Carbon Neutral. 8 months, Br/white, over the measure, correct balance in bone to substance for size. Well filled and turned head, excellent eye and expression, with well placed ears. Correct mouth, long arched neck into well placed shoulders, level top line and good rear angulation, a bit erratic on the move, but i am sure that will improve with age, he certainly tested his handler today. 2nd Mrs S Goodwin. Ready to Rumble With Spitewinter. 11 months, red/white, good for size. Well filled and turned head with well placed small ears. Super eye and expression, unfortunately his cross to bear is his undershot mouth. Still a tad loose all over, this should improve with age. Moved ok and sympathetically handled. JD.1 1st Rock & Price. As this dog was not in catalogue no name. White, over the measure. Super head and expression, with well placed ears. Good mouth, straight front with cat like feet. Overall a very well balanced dog, which moved with purpose and drive, very well presented and handled. PGD.2 1st Mrs J Shaw. Badlesmere Blackmail. 20 months, Tri, over the measure. Well filled and turned head, would have preferred a smaller eye to complete the picture. Well placed ears. Mouth ok, but with one broken canine. Super arched neck, into well placed shoulders, short back with a level top line, good rear angulation, movement lacked drive. 2nd Mr R Cartwright. Badlesmere Buzzin Boycie. 17 months, white, good for size. Good head with well placed tiny ears. Eye a little to bold. Mouth ok. Well balanced, with terrific 2nd thigh and in hard condition. Moved ok and handled very well. LD. 3 (2) 1st Mrs D Vickers. Edgar Wilde From Duvessa. 3 ½ year old white, over the measure. Good head and expression, mouth ok. Well placed ears, nice front and cat like feet. A very well balanced dog, which held his top line on the move. Very well presented and handled. OD. 5(1) 1st Mrs Chitty. Ch Seaquest Mr Bombastic. 3 ½ year old blk/br & white, over the measure. Every inch a champion, he commands the ring as soon as he walked into it. Very masculine head, filled and turned, mouth ok with big white teeth. Well placed small ears which he used all the time. Wicked expression. Well arched neck, straight front and cat like feet. Very well balanced, with good rear angulation, with well defined 2nd thigh, level top line which he held on the move. Showed and handled to perfection, very happy to award him the CC & BOB. 2nd Mr, Mrs M & J Phillips. Baiseys Blanc Du Blanc Of Bullyon. 14 month white, over the measure. Wins hands down on expression alone, tiniest of eye true to the breed standard. Classical of heads with neat well placed ears. Long arched neck into well placed shoulders. Straight front and cat like feet. Well balanced, with good hind quarters, moved very well. Shown and presented to perfection. RCC 3rd Mrs D Vickers. Duvessa Red Cloud. PB. 3 1st Mrs T Chapman. Grandopera Global Warning At Delektabul NAF TAF. 8 month, red/white. Litter sister to puppy dog winner. Over the measure, very feminine head, filled and turned with good expression, dark eye, well placed ears. Mouth ok. Elegant neck into well placed shoulders, straight front and cat like feet. Very well balanced, good hind angualtion, moved well. Shown and handled very well. A very promising young lady, happy to award her BP. 2nd Mrs J Shaw. Badlesmere Beeswax. 11 month old, white, good for size. Good head with tiny ears well placed, would have preferred a smaller eye. Shortest of backs, cat like feet, good rear angulation. Moved ok. 3rd Mrs P,& Dr S Rowe & Hemstock. Jolihem Binky Huckerback. JB. 7(1) 1st Mr L & Mrs J Plikington. Transcend Golden Child To Javarke. Class of the day. 17 months brindle, just over the measure, she is not as big as she looks. Well filled and turned head, mouth ok, well placed ears, dark eye with a wicked expression. Long arched neck, into well placed shoulder, straight front and cat like feet. Very well balanced in size to substance, well defined 2nd thigh. Moved well, with a level top line, quite the show off. Well presented and handled. RCC 2nd Ms S & Misses D & K Wiles. Adderswood Vyvyan For Arcazy. 1 year old brindle, good for size. Well filled and turned head, well placed ears and good expression, mouth ok. Arched neck into well placed shoulders, straight front, cat like feet. Very well balanced and good rear angulation. Moved ok, well presented and handled. 3rd Mr F & Mrs M Haworth. Warbonnet Madam Bouvary At Teregram. PGB 4(1) 1st Mr R Cartwright. Black Mountains Bow. 2 year old brindle, good for size. What a stunner, a real showgirl, Super filled and turned head, yet still remaining very feminine. Tiny dark eye with the wickedest expression. Well placed tiny ears, which she never stopped using them, mouth ok.Well arched neck into well placed shoulders, straightest of fronts, and cat like feet. Correct amount of roach to her shortest of backs, well developed 2nd thigh, super rear angulation. Moved with purpose and drive. Very well handled and presented. Very pleased to award her with the well deserved CC. 2nd Mr N & Mrs M Smith. Badlesmere Be Lucky. 3 year old br/white over the measure. Very feminine head, mouth ok, well placed ears. Long arched neck into well placed shoulders. Straight front and cat like feet. Very well balanced, good rear angulation, moved well. Handled and presented very well. 3rd Miss A & Mr S Slater & Thornton-Norris. Norris Designs Lady Ava. LB 3(2) 1st Miss S Manoli. Seaquest Ballykissangel. 3 years white with eye patch, good for size. Feminine head with good expression well placed ears. Long arched neck, into a good lay of shoulder. Straight front and cat like feet. Good top line which she held on the move. OB 2(1) 1st Mrs S J Monaghan. Espana Contessa Ukag Del Cornijel (Import) 7 years blk/br/white, good for size. Very feminine head, with good expression, well placed small ears. Arched neck into good lay of shoulder, straight front and cat like feet. Well balanced and moved ok. For her age she is in excellent condition, credit to her owner. Shown and presented well. I would like to thank the committee of Midland Counties, for giving me the opportunity to award my first set of CC`s in the breed. Also their hospitality, which made my day a very enjoyable one. As we all know minis vary so much in size and a great deal of hype appears to be based on this. My overall view from today was not of size, but of the lack of expression due to the incorrect shape of the eyes! Where has the small deep set triangular shape eye gone? Which is unique in the breed. There are far too many big round bold eye`s appearing in the breed, which totally ruins the expression! So let`s not forget to think of the breed as a whole package and not be to fixated on height alone.

1st Mr Mrs D, E & Miss V Clarks. Grandopera Carbon Neutral. 8 months, Br/white, over the measure, correct balance in bone to substance for size. Well filled and turned head, excellent eye and expression, with well placed ears.
